  1. I can't do beer or the carbonated it has to be mixed drinks with out fiz
  2. I'm not sure about everyone else but for me it took a lot for me to get even tipsy but since I lost weight it's a lot easier lol.

  4. For me I'm glad they gave me morphine drip though it was very weak.when I got home I was real gassy from surgery and I was so bruised. My dr works different from others I only had to be on liquid diet for 5 days I think then mushy then solids. But had the band.
  5. For me I went home the next day though I sure missed the pain meds
  6. I had very little reflex before surgery then it went away but came back when it got tightened. My last visit.
  7. my doctor works differently he has me on 3 day liquid diet 3 day puree and if I can tolerate solids then go for it... because everyone heals differently.. I was just banded the 19th im still sore and healing im wanting to move around a lot which I guess is good im just ready for this gas to go away.. and I totally forgot to weigh myself day before my surgery after my 2liquids and a solid diets.. but I weighed myself today and the scale said I weighed 305.5 where did it go? but I originally started off at 330
  8. good luck!!! I get mine the 19th =) nervous scared happy excited all at once first surgery ever!! be sure to take before and after pics... :wub:
  9. they told me since day one not to drink soda because of the bubbles I defeats the purpose the surgery the bubbles will introduce air in your stomach causing it to expand and feel uncomfortable.. plus the sugar would still be bad... I been working on getting coke out of my life and I do admit its hard very hard... switch to Snapple or something you like,,, like tea. with sweetnlow... my surgery is the 19th so I prepared 7 months ago... =)
