  1. I'm 3 weeks post op. Tonight I noticed the upper right side of my stomach appears visually swollen. I did a lot of bending today but haven't lifted anything over what dr said I can ( heavier than a gallon of water). Has this happened to anyone else?
  2. Anyone have 18/20 dress pants and jeans they need to get rid of? I'm 5'9 so I wear tall. I also need 22/14 tops. I will pay shipping. I'm giving away 30/32 26/28 tops and 22 pants and jeans most are tall. Zipcode is 07675.
  3. Thank you for replying so quickly. I have been taking the carbonate one I'm hoping it won't cause any problems but I will head out to the store to purchase the correct one.
  4. Today is day 20 post op for me and I'm happy to say I'm feeling almost back to normal. Had a very happy and blessed holiday and hope all of you did as well. The crock pot has become my new best friend. I was happy to speak to my dietician today who said I can add a slice of whole wheat toast per day. Anyone have any suggestions on what brand if bread goes well with the band?

  10. Pain killers make me sick. I took only adult strength liquid Tylenol (Cvs brand) and did fine. I had some discomfort but wouldn't say it was unbearable. Most important thing was getting up and walking to ease the gas and help the bloating.
  11. Gnc has a unflavored whey protein that has been really helping me meet my protein intakes. I mix it with the mushy food and into my protein Shakes.
  12. I was banded 12/7/12. I started mushies on day 6. Prior to that was clear liquids and my dr allowed 2 protein shakes as well. It still feels weird when I eat. Just take it slow and pace yourself.
  13. It's totally his loss. Stay focused and know sometimes you have to sacrifice who you are for who you can be. Stay strong you will make it through.
  14. I was banded Friday and walked every hour. Used gas x and heating pad as well and most of the gas seems to be gone. You will fell better soon.
