  1. I completely agree! And more often than not people do great with the sleeve! I have other reasons personally for choosing the plication as well so I'm treating this opportunity as a gift and running with it;) good luck to all!
  2. I have the plication and love it. Many more are getting the plication with the lb ( not sure why they would need it?) the worst criticizes of the procedures are... Those who don't have it and haven't put the research in! There are pros and cons to every wls and I believe you can rock any one if you put the effort in! Good luck with your choice! For those that are wondering, I have great blood flow and do not have stomach rot lol, I'm not cold either;)
  3. Yes I do. I am 5 weeks out just about and am on solid foods. It's such a weird feeling to really feel full after about 1/2-3/4 of food! It's like a miracle. My brain has not caught up yet. I see that I eat less than my five year old and think... How is this possible that my body is satisfied with this??! It's crazy, I am so happy an grateful it has been tough at times but that's my brain talking trying to talk myself back into old bad habits. Good luck with whatever you decide!
  4. What about peanuts? Good bad?
  5. Did you ever order some post sleeve? Did it work or did you find you gained?
  6. I'm in the same boat ladies. Plicated dec 3.... Lost 4 PDs on preop ( which was only two day liquid diet) se was 199, lost 18 PDs first 2 wks, one pd ( and a bunch if inches the second two weeks) so down to 180, and have been there since. Crazy not one pound lost or gained since. I'm happy with a 19 pond loss in four weeks total but I'm nervous I'm gonna be stuck here too lol. This week I'm inna start excersizing and drinking more water I guess... Good luck to us!
  7. I agree. I have the plication too. It is less invasive than the vsg but mimics it in the sense that the stomach size is dramatically reduced. I still chew chew, but my food choices are not limited and I am full anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup of food depending on what I'm eating. It's like a miracle lol. Sometimes I still can't wrap my mind around how full I get on such a small amount of food!
