  1. Well I have some very bad news. When they opened me up to do revision, there was so much scar tissue that it could not be done. I am left with 5 holes that will take a couple weeks to heal, lots of physical and emotional pain. So glad I believe in the saying, everything happens for a reason or I would be really messed up. Best of everything to all of you in your weight loss and healthy lifestyles!
  2. Wow, this thread has really took off! I had my surgery today and I have been up and walking. It was a bit more extensive than we thought but not surprised since it is a revision (band over bypass). A lot of scar tissue needed to be removed from open GBP survey. On my first cup of ice and I have never been so excited to eat ice lol!
  3. That's fabulous! So glad to have a band buddy.
  4. I am scheduled for November 1st and very excited. Protein shakes and dinner of 7oz lean meat and 2 cups of veggies. Also suppose to walk at least 30 minutes a day. Clear liquid diet 4 days before diet no sugar or carbonation. Did I spell that right???
  5. Get banded in Mexico on November 1 st. So excited and nervous
  6. I had gastric bypass there many years ago that was not lapriscopic and was amazed at the cleanliness, professionalism, etc. I still have kept 100 pounds off but really need to get the rest off (90lbs). It was suggested to put a band over the existing stomach as it has been extremely successful so I am excited. I think US is just way overpriced.
  7. Yes my doctor would do the fills but I would need to add hotel and flight costs (around $700) so was wanting someone locally.
  8. Having surgery November 1st and would like to have a fill doctor already lined up.
  9. What do you mean "hit restriction"? Sorry, new here and surgery in two weeks. You look beautiful btw!

  11. Hello all, I am excited about my upcoming surgery. It will be a revision. Since it is being done in Mexico I am nervous about making sure I have a qualified person to do my fills here in middle Tennessee. Suggestions?
