  7. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm halfway through day three and I'm already feeling a lot better.
  8. I was banded by Dr. C at the SWLC in Mississauga on Nov 7, 2012. I live in Hamilton. So far the clinic has been first class. I highly recommend them.
  9. Day two is over. Clear fluids only. It's weird how drinking feels and how slowly I have to drink. I've had lots of gas pain in my stomach. I've been pacing the floor trying to deal with it. Overall however I think I am doing ok.
  10. Very thing ent well. I'm home now. My stomach is very sore when I move. The meds are making me feel groggy. I started at 443. I lost 11 pounds before I consulted the lap band surgeon. He put me on the meditrim shakes for three weeks where I lost 38 lbs. I'm already at 394 which is 49 lbs lost! I'm really looking forward to eating real food again. I'm also very exited to see where my new life style will take me. Cheers Cdnman1
  11. My surgery is Nov 7th. I'm on my second week of the liquid shakes. So far so good.
