I was watching TV on a Sunday morning a few years ago and saw a news report about the 'lapband'. This woman was talking about the amount of weight she had lost in combination to how great she was feeling, especially being a mom. I had said to myself at that time that most defiantly I would consider the 'lapband' if I ever felt the need to.



I started my research in 2010. For a very longtime I MANAGED my weight (240-260lbs), whether it was the breakup of my 'man' friend... I don't know but I was out of control. There were other issues too but, my weight was something I thought that I could take control of. I wanted to 'LOVE myself' again.
I had my operation on Thursday March 7, 2012. I await all the new possibilities.
