LIlMiss, you know what that means. DON'T DRIVE THROUGH WATER. Houston streets and highways flood frequently yet people try to drive through and get stranded and ruin their cars. Those are the lucky ones. The others aren't around to tell us how much they regret trying to drive through what they thought was a puddle.

It is gorgeous in Houston today. Sunny, blue skies. No humidity and temps in the 60s. Now if it could only stay this way until summer. I have my fill scheduled tomorrow so I'm hoping that will kick off some weight loss. It seems for me I stall between fills. I will generally lose 6-10 lbs within 3 weeks of a fill and then I'll stall for a couple of weeks until I go get another one. That kind of formula can't go on much longer because at 4.5 in a 8 cc band, I think I'm very close to the sweet spot. The only thing left will be the exercise. I really, really got to get back into it. It will be much easier once summer hits and I can at least use the pool. I'm always a lot more active and energetic during the summer months.

CURE for 3:50 AM insomnia - beat up some mobsters and do some late night muggings, robberies, etc. I think I could embrace the name Donna Gambino (it does have nice ring to it). :party: Slim - maybe your DH is more amorous because you are sending out hotter signals as you start feeling more confident about yourself? Confidence is sexy. :hurray:

I had a fill scheduled for last Tuesday but all of a sudden a couple of days before I started feeling like I was getting more restriction so I canceled. Of course, by Wednesday I felt wide open again so I rescheduled it for next Tuesday.

I'm watching BL on DVR now and I'm just cracking up. I can't BELIEVE how f'd up these people are on this show! I guess since they are isolated from the real world, they lose their grip on reality. I mean, they are all bawling and having an emotional melt down because they switched teams and trainers? C'mon people! Bob crying really takes the cake. It's just disgusting!

She is kinda scary looking, isn't she? However, given that she's well over a thousand years old, I guess she's holding up pretty well.

I'm sorry you feel that way. It's been a while since you've posted pics but from what I could recall, you looked great. At this point, you probably have body dysmorphia (I think that's what it's called). I know it doesn't really help for someone else (especially on the internet) to tell you that you look great, but you look great.

I just wanted to share this: It still blows my mind that I can actually feel stuffed on 1/3 of the amount that used to be my normal amount. When my band is relatively open, the food can go through and hit the stomach and I get that pre-band full feeling and it amazes me.

Are you used to your "improved" body or do you still catch yourself startled in the mirror?
