I developed a blood clott in my pelvic area and lungs. Started feeling really bad during my third post-op week. Coughing and breathig problems. Went to urgent care and was treated for bronchitis. I actually git better, but didnt wuite feel like I shiuld have. Went for my 4 week post off visit in Houston, described to my surgeon my symptoms and my Dr had me tested for blood clots and they were discovered so now I'm on a blood thinner and really down about it. Stayed in the hospital several days. Im breathing normal now, but recovery will take a while. Looking back I wonder if i moved around enough, so be sure you push yoursel and walk. I'll be monitored often, checking my heart which apperars to be ok and on blood thinner for a while. Trying not to let this keep me down so I can stay positive about my weight loss 32 lbs . Had my 1 month post op visit, lost 32 pounds.

I had the same shoulder pains I thought it was gas. I aso had the band removed and some scare tissue from the band, hernia repair and sleeve. After relief from that pain I got bronchitis. I'm better now. I'm 4 weeks post op, but it has been really been rough! I'M down 30lbs

I will be 3 weeks in a couple of days and still not able to keep any food down it always seems to come back up slimy. any suggestions please. Getting worried!! Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

On the clear liqiud diet 2 week due to removal of lap band and hernia first 10 days was very smooth but for the last 4 days I have had severe gas pains any suggestions Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

12 days post op and Im dealung with very low blood pressure 95/56 and I was dizzy and felt terrible all day could hardly breath, just weak. I have dropped 20lbs ib 12 days. Mine was done on 12/28, due to the removal of the lapband I have to do another week of clear liquid and I'm really tired of broth, but Im hanging in there! 8 days and down 17 lbs!!!! Thanking God too!!! Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

I am really pleased so far. No more throwing up, acid reflux and trying not to let my husband know how often it was happening.

I was sleeved 12/28/17. I had had a lapband for about 8 year, lost some weight but my experience had not been good. Constantly vomiting, food getting stuck. It caused problems with my esophagus dilating and had to later be removed. I was able to get the sleeve and so for I'm doing well. Have to stay on a clear liquid diet longer because of the band removal, a small hernia and the sleeve process, but everything has a price to pay. So for I am dow 15 lbs in 7 days and I feel fine. By the way I am 61 years old and a determine Woman following all the rules

I had a revision on 12/28/17, lapband to sleeve, still a little sore and on clear liquids. I'm 6 days post-op and down 12 lbs. Will see doctor today for follow up visit. Really excited about my new journey. This is a wonderful site, so helpful. Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
