  1. I'm the same way. I've been doing everything that I've been told and only 32 in 8 weeks.... I have to force myself to drink and eat also. I feel I've lost inches but I wanna loose more weight.

  4. Thank you!!! I was getting discouraged cause I've only lost 30 until my daughter made this side by side pic of me and I can tell the difference. Long ways to go still but I'm happy now.

  6. I'm 6 weeks post op and only lost 29 pounds. I'm so upset with this. My doctor says I'm doing good but I want more off. Sometimes I think this isn't working for me... I'm very discouraged
  7. I agree with you I would rather loose it slow but not just stop. I'm so afraid that I will be one of the few that the surgery didn't help.
  8. When I went for my one week check up I had lost 19. I cried when the nurse told me that. I was so happy. Them l lost 3 more then just stopped. I've heard of a stall but I was hoping it would be later than earlier in my journey. I'm going to Costa Rica in June and wanna be able o enjoy myself... Lol... Thanks for the feed back
  9. I'm 3 weeks post op and I'm so upset. Ive stopped loosing weight. I lost 22 pounds in 2 weeks and this third week I haven't lost anything at all. I'm walking every evening and doing what I supose to do but nothing is coming off. I'M SO UPSET.... Is this normal?
  10. Well now they did a CT scan and said it looks like my appendix need to come out. Finally the gas is going down some from my bypass and now there wanting to take me back for appendix surgery. Not sure if I'm going to be able to handle this.
  11. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I just keep telling myself that it's ginna get better and I'm gonna be skinner. That's why I love this site cause I can come here and always get good/ kind advice.
  12. I had my bypass on Tuesday and today Friday I'm back in the hospital. My bladder isn't emptying without a Cather and I'm severally dehydrated. The gas pains are un bearable and I can't get comfortable. I've been walking and I even been using the gas x strips. Please someone give me some advice.

  16. So now my surgery date has been moved up a day.... Now it's the 26th of Feb. I'm so happy

  20. But from what I understand all BCBS ins changed as of Jan 1st and they have no more waiting periods as long as you meet the requirements
  21. I started this journey in Aug of last year with BCBS of Pennsylvania. With them I had 6 month wait. Now since Jan1st I changed to BCBS of Texas and there is NO waiting period. So since I already meet all my requirements my dr office submitted my surgery and received an approval.
  22. I know I'm so ready to get this journey started.
