Has everyone been able to stay true to 2 weeks liquid diet? I really have been struggleling. I don't know if I will be able to get thrue it!

yeah thats all! If it was that easy I would not need the surgery.

Well my Doctor just recomended 3 shakes 2 times a day and thats all.

On Nov. 15 I start my 10 days pre op shakes 3 times a day no solid food, mushy or liquid food. Just shakes! I don't know how they expect me to survive on just shakes for 10 days, and to top it off I have to cook Thanks Giving dinner and I also donate and feed the homeless every year, and not eat anything. That's just impossible task. I'm trying to figure out how to implement some health food so I can cheat and have something to eat on thanks giving with every one else

you have to call your insurace and see if they cover the surgery and what are the requirements, that what I did.

I'm sorry to hear that! What your denial because of your bmi? Find out what was the couse for denial and see if it's someting that you can fix. Did you meet all requirements? Don't give up if you really want it keep fighting til you get it!

I'm also for November 26,2012 I was appoved! OMG ! I'm excited and scared at the sametime and just the waiting makes it worse.

Im 100% covered the only out of pocket expense I have is $100. Hospital stay dont mater how many days.

I have emblem health plan hip prime, thru my husband employer and they cover the surgery but have to have 3 month weight in.
