  4. My insurance (Anthem BCBS) through my job covers Lap Band surgery only!! I called them directly to see what I was covered for because the dr office hasn't returned my call yet. I know I'm far from being approved but I just wanted to know the requirements and if it was covered One of which... was to have a BMI over 40 and I'm currently at a 53 with no co-mo's (possible sleep apnea-test next week) Now I'm waiting for the dr office to schedule my consultation I was worried about my coverage I feel much better now

  14. I'm Lyn 37 female 320-325lbs 5'6 BMI is 41. I have pre high blood pressure, possible sleep apnea, and severely bad knees. I'm been obese a majority of my life. I'm tired of being tired. I want energy, I want to be able to walk without being tired and having my knees hurt. So after several months and months of trying it do it the non surgical way. I have decided to attend a seminar this Wednesday. I'm excited but nervous too. I really want to feel better. Also nervous about my insurance approval (Athem bcbs) I've been reading the forum and have gotten excited and scared at the same time. I will be checking in after my seminar on Wednesday .... I'm ready to start this journey
