  1. I'm taking a pro-biotic and it helps with the bathroom issues. As far as no weight loss, r u getting enough protein? What r u eating? I do see this a lot on the support group from the hospital and that is what our nurse asks. Best of luck!
  2. Does anyone have a hard time "eating" in the am? I have a hard time getting my shakes down. From nausea to pain, it seems like it's better to wait a couple hours.
  3. Call Ur Dr tomorrow if u r still having issues. Hot tea will help settle your pouch.
  4. I just had surgery 12.20 and threw up yesterday. I called my surgeon, he was worried about becoming dehydrated

  7. When I get up or down, or bend, it feels like I'm being stabbed. I may just not handle it like others. And no, i've never had a baby, so nothing to compare...

  9. I was banded on 12/20, and am still in a lot of pain. Not sure if I over did and am paying the price, or this is how it goes. Maybe I just don't have a high threshold for pain...
  10. I was tired and cranky the whole two Weeks. It effects everyone different. Make sure u follow Ur Dr and do what he says. It goes fast, next thing u know you'll b done!

  12. I called, if I can't keep sips down, I have to go to the er. Told me not to take probiotics right now. I did throw up once more and feel better. Pray I can keep sips down!
  13. it's day 3 post op I have pain in the middle of my chest and I've thrown up a couple times. haven't really done anything different did take a couple probiotics that are the size of a tylenol gel cap. advice needed...
  14. I have had a headache since I got home from the hospital. I've taken Maxalt, and Sudafed, not helping. Getting worse, even with the pain meds. This happen to anyone? Any suggestions.

  16. Is anyone else super tired after surgery? Yes, i'm on pain meds, but all i'm doing is sleeping. Is this normal?
  17. In my support group one of the ladies suggested turkey pepperoni "chips". Heat ur oven 325, put one serving of the pepperoni in a signal layer, sprinkle with low fat cheese and bake till crispy. My diet will consist of 4-5 mini meals, so this could be one with a couple apple slices. I'm only 2days post op, can't wait to try them.
  18. At the hospital, can't wait to get this over with and start my new life. Here's to a happy, healthy, and thin 2013. Wish me luck, woohoo!!!
