  1. That a tough one. I sleep on my back propped up on like 8 pillows. I tried layimg on my side but it was to painful to get up.
  2. This just started today..i think i was on my feet to lonng. I have a sore/pain feeling in my somach on the upper rt. I get refeif when i lay down propped up on pillows. But when i get up its back. Maybe im using to much of my stomach muscles when i get up. Its also uncomfrtable to bends over and pick somethimg up off the floor. Is this just a part of healing?
  3. Awkright i give you credit for going bk to work today. I was banded on the 14 As well and know i could not have gone bk yet. I can totally relate to feeling of not beig able to sit for long period at a time. I hope your pains go away.
  4. I think it depends how you feel. I walk down my drive and to the end of my street and bk. If i feel up to it i repeat it.

  6. I know its normal to be sore but on what day does it get better? I ve been walking but feel very tired week and sore. My surgery was on the 15th

  8. I was banded friday to. My doc told me to pu Meralox in one of my shakes or drinks once a day. I had a bowel movement this am. Is anyone having headaches?
  9. i agree walking has made me feel much better!
  10. Try sipping,more water. It will help with the returned water.
  11. Yes it does take a little while to get them down. They told me no longer then 1 hour. They gave me a tip and said 2 ounces every15 minutes. I have a question for you. What do you mean ur cooling us? Do you heat it up.
  12. Just corious im on day 1 and my oc has me on 3 shakes starting and liqs today. Was this normal for you guys to? I see most people did not start shakes till wk2.
  13. lesile i was terrified (especialy) after reading other peoples stories. Let me just tell you its really not that bad. The worst part so far is the soreness...but no worst then doing a bunch ot sit ups. Good luck. Keep in touch.
  14. All went well, my doc even fixed a hernia! A little sore, but drinking water, taking meds and resting. I hope tomorrow is just as good. I still an beleive its done. Excited to begin this journey.

  22. Its been a long jurney. Tomorrow i will get my surgery date and i feel cold feet coming on!!!! So, i went to the site and googled some questions... everything i read was negative. Ughhhh not what i wanted to hear. I know im ready to make the changes and commitment. Im most scarred of throwing up daily, not being able to eat with others, not loosing any weight all (i read a few stories where people said they never lost weight),etc... Can anyone share a positive expereince?
