Thanks everyone for the support. He just found out the other day that quite a few people are being let go but he's not one of them. Thank god! Their work will continue to be slow for the next 2 or 3 months probably but its better than being let go for good. My husbands work has been very slow lately and they are talking about possible layoffs that are permanent. Im really scared because my insurance is through his work...if he loses his job there's no way I could get this surgery done its way to expensive. Im so upset...im so close to surgery....should be coming up in september is what were thinking. For all the people who are religious out there if I could please ask you to pray for me and mu husband that'd be awesome, we could use all the prayers we can get. I am also 22 and I don't have as many health problems but do suffer from extreme ibs and anxiety. I've been waiting to meet someone on here my age lol. Not many people are age have this surgery done. I should be having mine in September I believe. I am happy with the decision I have made but I think alot of my friends are more worried about the fact tnat I can't drink anymore...im not a huge partier because I have a 4 yr old daughter but most of my friends are into the partying and drinking. DLCoggin- thanks for all the advice...I actually can't even stand the smell of coffee...my husband actually just made some today and it about made me throw up lol. Yeah the thickness of the greek yogurt kind of grossed me out but definitely filled me up. I heard from alot of people your taste buds seem to change after the surgery so maybe some things I like now I wont like and vice versa. But the strawberry bannana wasn't that bad. DLCoggin- thank you! the only difference that I've have noticed in quiting smoking and weight loss is when I quit smoking I just kept telling myself go one more day without it and it'll get easier everyday. It almost was like to prove to my family that I could go another day. But with weight loss u can't just give up food for good ...u have to eat it to survive. With the ciggerettes I could give them up forever and not have a problem. So that's where I run into issues. My biggest problem with weight loss lately I think is that I've gained so much weight over the past few years that I've given up ...I feel like I just keep telling myself ur fat already so why not eat one more cookie. I hate that mentality it sucks. I gained 15 pounds after quiting smoking 3 months ago. That also made my confidence go down. Sent from my Verizon DROID3 using RNYTalk

Lynn- good luck! Yeah I try to stay busy too because if im just sitting around I get bored and want to eat. The worst time of day for me is at night. I don't get out of work till 6 then go to the gym till 7 or 7:30 so I don't even eat dinner until like 8 or 9 by the time I get my daughter laid down and stuff....but I am always really bored and just watching tv at night so that's the hardest time. John- idk about that lol I was in chicago on a bussiness trip for 3 days and that was enough for me lol. I think a trip to ny would be fun but not to live in. Way to busy for me. I love being able to go outside and take a walk and not be bothered by noise or alot of traffic. I live in a pretty small town and practically the entire town knows me. Lol. This is my first time ever eating greek yogurt and im eating the chobani low fat strawberry bannana one. I decided to switch to these because of the Protein. I just opened it up...can someone tell me ..is it suppose to have brown stuff in the bottom of it and seem kind of thick and cream cheesy? I asked one of my employees that eats really healthy and he said he thought it was fruit but im scared to eat it lol. Yeah I agree! I've went on walks with the girl before and it kind of makes me mad bc I don't want my daughter around it...its frustrating. Right now im sick with a chest cold and it has been hard to breathe and it kind of reminds me of when I was a smoker and it sucks...I feel like s***! And don't ever wanna feel like that again. Mu husband has been on the patch for 3 months but has cheated a few times ...I just hope he can stick with it and stay quit for good. He's almost 25 and has been smoking since he was 14 or 15. Yeah I am so glad im done! I never felt good when I did it...it did feel like I relieved stress at the times I was doing it but my lungs hurt and I couldn't workout as much because I would get so out of breath and it hurt my chest. My 4 year old asks me all the time mommy do u still smoke? And I reassure her everyday that I don't anymore. I hdave a friend that takes her child on walks and smokes right there in front of the kid and it drives me nuts. I never smoked around my daughter...I always smoked outside and if she was out there I wouldn't do it. We even shut the shades so she wouldn't see us doing it. At that hospital that I am getting this done at they ask u if uve ever been a smoker and if u say yes u have to be nicotine free for 4 months before surgery. I had no idea so of course I said yes...I mean I wouldn't have lied anyways...but I didn't know when that 4 months started and a smoked a ciggerette on saint pattys day even though I've been quit for like 3 months and I was honest about it and it pushed my surgery back a little bit. But I passed my first test so I was happy. No more smoking ever again for this girl! Lol. Smoking can cause ulcers and with the size of the pouch the ulcers can do alot of damage after surgery so that's why they are so strict about it. Sent from my Verizon DROID3 using RNYTalk
