  7. Meanwhile I've already hit a stall...sigh....
  8. So I just had my first post op appt today and my surgeon tells me he expects me to lose around the same every month. 30lbs a month?!?!?! Has anyone else gotten this feedback? My bmi started at 47, at surgery i was 300lbs and Im 5'7. I thought he was kidding but he said no. Feedback?
  9. THIS WAS HAPPENING TO ME! It started about 5 days post op after i took my pain med and went for a walk. I couldn't shake the dizziness for a week. If i stood up it was a wrap. The more I moved around the dizzier I got. Thank God it finally wore off....then again i stopped taking the post op meds the first day of dizziness. Im not certain if they are linked but it was the most frustrating and emotionally challenging part of the process so far.
  10. Score....hoping Im down by 40 like you come week 5!
  11. Walking is def helping me to shed the lbs. Im just over 2weeks post op and down 25lbs. I noticed over the past week that if I walk I lose 1-2lbs a day, if I don't the scale doesn't do much. Im not doing Protein shakes either...they make me gag. I've just started stage III and am doing high protein foods like eggs, Greek yogurt, meats etc.
  12. Too much caffeine triggers cortisol which causes weight gain. I drink decaf when i really want it.
  13. Welcome sweetcurves... Glad you could join the forum! We are all about encouragement here so share away!
  14. Yeah, the first couple of days/2 weeks you def want to focus on getting down other liquids to help u stay hydrated. Perhaps you can put the shakes last if the are causing you to bm bc you're losing water when that happens too.
  15. Don't be scared, just see yourself on the other side of the procedure. You'll do great!
  16. Oh and im still belching after every bite
  17. I just started soft foods yesterday and i can only eat three small forks of food.whether its eggs, tuna etc Im stuffed....is that normal for the second day of phase III
