Yes, I agree I had three c/s. My 1st and last were with staples. Hurt like hell, so I hope and pray this surgery goes well.

I agree! Maybe, him being investigated made him weak not eating, not taking vitamins etc.....

Good morning all! I am 27 yo and confused at this point. FIrst, I started off wanting this procedure done.. Then my surgeon said by my bmi being 57 I wouldn't lose what I want so he suggested the gastric sleeve. I have read about how hard it is to drink and as a result being dehydrated, dumping and all that. Is there anyone on here who had the lap band with a bmi over 55? If so, how is it working out for you?

Has anyone had vsg done at UIC??? If so, who was the surgeon and how was he/she?

I feel the same way im 27 yo as well. My husband doubted this procedure and now he just want me to be happy and healthy. Im terrified still but i know if i dont do something, i will have health problems besides obesity.....best of luck to you!

I was told it would be best if i get the sleeve because of my bmi being 55. Im scared str8. I have had surgeries in the past (not pertaining to wls) but im scared of the possible side effects that may happen.
