What should my macros be @ 23 months out

    That's a good idea
  2. Hi everyone I been stuck at 173 for two months now. I work out 3 to 5 days a week 30 mins a day average cals burned anywhere between 200 to 285 per session. The workouts are a combination of weight lifting and or cardio. I am maintaining my weight but not losing. I eat 1375 cals a day only cause it was recommended to increase my food intake from 1200 cals cause I may be in starvation mode I was nervous about increasing my cals cause I fear gaining weight but I'm desperate to reach my goal weight of 150lbs.

    Surgery Dates for July

Hi there everyone Its going down on July 29th. I am nervous and excited. I am getting last minute stuff like liquid vitamins baby dishware. I got to move a bit more so exercise will become a priority for me. I been watching the carb in take so I guess I am ok there.
  7. I just approved for surgery but I have no date yet. They did my final weight check yesterday and they said I GAINED 3lbs since my last visit in late March. So before they set a date they want me to lose 8lbs by next week and started me on my pre op diet and it is hard as a hell but I am pushing through it.

    I'm a pre-op anemic

maybe you're right. I shouldn't worry too much.
  10. Hi there everyone, I just found out during my visit with my PCP that I am anemic. While researching about the RNY, I learned that becoming anemic is a possible complication that anyone can experience. Since I'm already anemic is it still a good idea to consider the RNY? I am concerned about ending up iron injections. Thank you for your responses.

    Birth Control Problems!

I've been infertile for so long I forgot that BC will be an issue for me again after I have surgery. Do they still make the birth control patch? I just don't like IUDs or implants.

    Questions - Sleeve vs. Bypass

I have sensed some division between the sleeve and rny patients too. I haven't had surgery yet but after research I have settled on the bypass cause I have PCOS and insulin resistance. On other sleeve forums I been on they do talk down about the bypass saying that the pouch will stretch out and you will lose restriction over time and that the sleeve won't do that cause it's formed from the non stretchy part of the stomach. In my option both surgeries can be successful it just depends on how you rock your weightloss journey. It doesn't matter which surgery you pick we are all bariatric patients and we should support each other, period!
