I was sleeved on 8/27 and I'm only down 22#. What are you doing to drop ?? I've been stuck for a week .

I'm 6 days post op and this might be a silly question but how do u know when u are full I'm really not hungry but know I have to get the proteins in but I don't know how much to eat

Well surgery went well I have very little pain and hardly no gas pain my BIGGEST problem was nausea .. I had dry heeves and the pain with that was horrible .. I am home now and doing well .. It's great to be on the other side now

It's so real now on my way to the hospital now .. Just to think after today I will no longer be know at the dr office as the morbid obese female.. Ready for a new start at life ready to join the losers bench .. Praying for all that are having surgery today or had surgery for a speedy recovery

Hey Jazeeja .. I'm getting nervous now , I'm down 10 lbs already and tomorrow is clear liquids .. I hope all goes well with your surgery and wish you a speedy recovery :-)

I started my pre-op diet full liquids on sept 20 my surgery date is sept 27 as if today Sunday I'm already down 7 lbs , I haven't really been that hungry and when I feel the need to chew I eat a SF Popsicle.. I'm a little anxious and nervous for this up coming week knowing I'm on the count down ????

Hi to all my locals I live in Miami and I will be sleeved on 9/27/12 at Memorial Regional with Dr. Eckstein ..I'm starting my full liquid pre op tomorrow ..

Congratulations !! Mine is also sept 27th in Fl with Dr. Eckstein, feeling a little nervous and anxious. I start my full liquid diet tomorrow Sept 20.

Well my surgery has been post poned , I was suppose to be sleeved on 8/30/2012 but my insurance requires I see the doctor 3 times within 90 days and I started my process May 2 and had my final appt with the surgeon on August 1 so I was 1 day short of my 90 days.. So I wll see the dr this week and hopefully reschedule.

I am in the same area .. I am waiting on my approval from insurance.. But my surgery will be done in broward.

I've been on this site for a couple months now and have never posted anything, I really enjoy reading everyones post very encouraging.. I have finished all my requirements for the gastric sleeve, I went to the doctor on Wednesday for my finally appointment with the surgeon and after him reviewing my lab work told my I was fat but healthy and was not sure if I would get approved... Oh and my BMI is only 36.. I do have slightly high blood pressure so I gave my clearance letter to my cardiologist to document I have high blood pressure so I am hoping that will help .. I was given a surgery date of August 30 pending insurance approval. They say they may not know anything until about 3 days before surgery . I am hoping and praying everything goes through after I've been all psyched up the past 3 months. Let me know if there are any sleevers from Fl. Lisa
