  1. I am so glad you mentioned that it's cheap. I bought a really cute top there for a party, wore it once. Went to pull it out the other day and it was torn.
  2. My doctor said I can eat 15 mins after I drink which is very doable, but to wait 2 hrs after the meal which is hard. 30 mins is doable but I will say I tend to feel like my stomach is super full if I drink that soon.
  3. FYI as a troop leader helping sell Cookies for two girls I totally get it cause my garage was full of cookies. You can participate in Troop to Troop where you donate money toward boxes of cookies sent to the military troops. This can also be done online. This helps you support the Girl Scouts and our solider without gaining calories. Pamela
  4. I find myself really thirsty after eating. Sometime I think it might be because I was really thirsty in the first place and not hungry. Do you still wait 15 mins after drinking to eat? Two hours after eating before you drink? I've only been waiting about an hour and I'm eating just about every two hours which is a bad habit I've restarted. Pamela
  5. I have Davidson also. Lost 104 pounds but gained back 12.5 so I'm focused on eating right and exercising again.
  6. Did you ever start your chapter? I was also sleeve Oct. 23, 2012 at Forest Park and would love some local support.
  7. Way to go fallen. Keep up the great progress. You are an inspiration.
  8. When was your surgery? How has the journey been so far? I was sleeved Oct. 23, 2012. I lost a little over 100 pounds. I actually started eating junk a several months back. I'm surprised that it took this long to catch up with me. Not sure why I even bother to eat and drink junk. I feel more satisfied when I eat my protein like I'm supposed to.
  9. I didn't think about sipping too much. I definitely gulp down water like in the old days. May need to slow it down.

Are you able to swallow to Citracal petites? I bought them and they were bigger than I expected. I'm a year and 1/2 out and wasn't sure. Pamela
  11. I've managed to get off track. I've gained 15-20 pounds back after reaching my goal (lost 100 lbs) because of stress and boredom eating - eating tons of simple carbs and drinking calories. So today, I'm publicly recommitting to going back to the basics. This week, I've already given up the caloric drinks and started back exercising. The last step is getting back to smaller meals consisting primarily of Protein and dealing with stress in other ways. I'm proud of myself for catching it before gaining too much weight. If anyone else is in the same boat, join me in recommitting to looking and feeling fabulous. Pamela
  12. I can finally buy a bra at Victoria Secret. Very expensive but nice to be able to do it.
  13. You are going to have to change your username. You are skinny mom now.
  14. Jenni, your posts reminds me that I need to get back to smaller meals and eating slower.
  15. You look great. Awesome job.
  16. No bathroom issues. I do hate it though because I just started a new job. Sometimes it's really loud in meetings. Someone once heard it on the phone too. Embarrassing.
  17. Any thing that I can do to quiet the Lou grumbles?
  18. Where is this support group? I would love some info. Pamela
  19. LDallas. Hang in there. I have my moments. I went on a seven day strict diet a couple of months ago to get myself back on track. I am at goal and sometimes I don't eat as I should but for the most part I am doing well. Best of luck in 2014.

  21. I'm so glad I found the veteran forum. I've been reading the newbie posts but needed to hear from people like me. I will be one year post UOP in Oct and my bad habits have crept back in - stress eating and carbs. I made it to goal but I've gained six pounds, which may not seem like much but I know that I'm headed the wrong direction. Honestly I'm surprised it's not more with the amount is junky food I've been eating. I got back to taking my Vitamins. I added exercise back and now I'm working on drinking more Water, eating smaller amounts and cutting back on slider foods. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I'm looking at starting a weekly conf calling Sunday afternoons as well. If anyone is interested please let me know. Pamela
  22. Conference call What time would work? What time zone are you in? I'm in CST. Pamela
  23. How did you get your stomach so flat? Pamela
