Good afternoon ladies, Maddy did well with endo. But they did wait until she was away from Paula and Jack and poked her at least 7 times for an IV. She is so bruised... Paula said "that will not happen again". All IV's will be done in her presence. Dawn, she had to have endo b/c she is tube fed and they wanted to see why her tube seems to be leaking a lot. They think that the balloon that holds it in was being overfilled. The more Paula filled it, the worse the link got. I took Delaney and Jack to the beach and then we had a picnic lunch. They had ham & cheese sandwich from Subway. I got an egg white and ham wrap. OMG, I am still suffering from a stuck on just one bite. Freaked the poor kids out. I explained what was going on and they felt bad they could not help me in any way. Mom is at home, for now. She needs to get her strength back and have GB removed. I will be going to Gainesville next week. I hope you all have had a good friday. TTYL

Must be something in the air Dawn. I sat and cried for my mom today. Not that she has anything really serious, just that she has 5 children and she will have to spend her remaining years in a nursing home. I was remembering all of us kids and mom taking us to the beach and playing outside with us. When I was sick, she would sleep on a hide a bed with me. She also made decisions that led to her current situation. Like running away and joining the circus.ha But to me, it is just sad. I'm ok now. I did notice the pictures that were missing.lol

My port flipped at 3mths out, I continued to lose. No fill at orginal LBS. 6wks post op 2cc, 4 wks later port is flipped no fill. Revision surgery and another 6wks until a fill. 4wks after that another fill and finally restriction. During this whole process, I continued to lose weight by sticking to my surgeons instructions. It was another diet for a long while, but the band does work. Sorry you are having problems. Its time to log what your eating and being sure to get in your protein first. Tell your hunger to shut the hell up, mind over matter.IMHO

Mom had an ultrasound of gallbladder and it is functioning. Now waiting (tmi) for a stool spec for possible colitis.

Dawn, I hope your world has brightened some today. I'm thrilled you have a Drs appt for your band. Can't remember when it is, but I hope its not on your birthday. I wish I was there to Celebrate my c girls birthday. Just know, I will be there in spirit, singing HB at the top of my lungs. Its probably a good thing, it will be I spirit. Oh, about the beach wheel chair rental... The problem is Maddy can't sit up in one. She'd fall off the side. Her wheelchair at home has all kinds of molded cushioning to keep her sitting up right. Her new wheelchair is so much better than her last one.

Terri, please don't call me St.Janet. I understand the heart in how you said it, but I am far from a saint. I also believe what the bible says about getting your praise down here on earth, Its all you will get. I'm looking for more than that.lol Thank you for your praise, but I'm just doing what I think is right. Been using a seam ripper a lot today. Guess my heads not in the game. I was considering acupuncture for the pain I was in months after my accident. I got a LB instead and whatever they did in surgery, fixed my neck and the rest is history. Tell your son we are still waiting for a video concert. Does he take request?

I was out mowing the lawn on Monday. Today I had to ask a neighbor to come over and jump start my car. He asked me " why was your daughter mowing your lawn yesterday?" My daughter is 39yo..... I love my neighbor!!!!
