  4. So my doc has told me to stay away from bread, but does that mean I can't have pancakes either? Whether they be protein pancakes, whole wheat pancakes, etc? I understand having carbs often aren't beneficial to weight loss but I do need to create a sense of normalcy (sp?) in my eating and routine for the rest of my life. Thanks!

  6. How did you start your exercise journey? I used to run cross country in high school but it's not the same after being almost 300 pounds for 4 years. How do you get back in shape? How do you train? I'd love to one day be able to do a Tri-Athlon or 1/2 marathon or even a marathon!
  7. Thanks! I'm pleased so far, just been taking it slow. I am trying will all my might not to throw up or dry heave, I can imagine that would be painful!

  13. I see a lot of posts about people wanting to keep their surgery a secret or just hush hush in general; I was one of those people too! As my surgery date gets closer I feel like telling everyone! Ha im nervous about the actual surgery but way more excited than anything else...am I the only one?

  16. It went super quick! Only took 3 months for all my appointments and insurance approval; but I was busting a$$ fitting in every little appointment haha I'm kinda nervous just because it came so quickly and it took me off guard.
