  1. My bariatric center won't release me unless i have someone to drive me home....they won't even release a patient to a cab!
  2. I had my pre-op appointment with my surgeon today (he's so nice...and so cute!, bloodwork, pre-op surgery class and signed all the waivers. I weighed in two pounds uncer my required pre-surgery weight goal!! It's getting very real now!!!!!
  3. I experienced the same issue...when I changed my weight it took about 24 hours for it to update.

  7. Hang in there cdube10. I didn't have to do liquid diet at all but I have had to do three months of a pre-op diet and there have been many stressful time but I just keep reminding myself of long-term goal!!!.....HEALTH!!!

  9. I'm having my surgery at South San Fran Kaiser on August 27th..... It took a total of five months from the "About" class to the day of my surgery but I don't really feel that it's been too long. It's been a very informative process. And I've learned a huge lesson in being patient!

  14. I feel ou have a choice regarding how you react to his comments....that's in your control. However, I feel HE has a choice how he communicates to you.....it's one thing to express his concern in a loving, gentle and caring manner yet another to be condescending and rude. You most likely won't be able to change him....you just have to decide if YOU can live with him the way he is!

  22. I have a friend that was sleeved in January and she didn't use her cpap at all after surgery. That seems dangerous to me. I'm at 6.0 pressure and hoping I'll get off soon after my surgery at the end of the month. I'm a stomach sleeper and soooo tired of waking up with mask marks on my face!!!
