  1. Oh, and unless there is a reason you shouldn't, consider a flu shot (personal preference, but advised)
  2. I would suggest for pre op folks, daily Vitamin C and purell in your pocket. Avoid sick infectious people, crowded gatherings. But above all wash or purell your hands as much as possible!

  10. Funny how different the diets are from surgeon to surgeon. i am to be on clear liquids for 7 days, with only 20 g of Protein intake per day required (1/2 bottle of isopure)
  11. Pre-op visit today, testing etc. starting pre-op diet today. 5 optifast shakes a day...that's it. 13 days to surgery!!!
  12. Unless you are all alone and have no one to go to the store for you, (just in case) i don't see needing to buy one or two days of post op stuff at a time(one bottle of Isopure, or some sort of Protein shakes). I say that but understand there are folks who live super rural and this is not always feesable. A lot of these companies on line have free shipping and ship super fast too.
  13. Flu shots are available and a good idea.i think I will get one this week. My daughter' date=' who is tiny for her age was hospitalized when she was 4 for a week. She caught the flu and became so ill and was re-hospitalized. .
