  1. Everyone is weak and has cravings and if you don't occasionally indulge you will binge! Like the other lady said...just pick up and keep on going. You're worth it I personally believe its ok sometimes. Aim for healthy goodness most all of the time and then treat yourself every so often.
  2. Oh Lorraine! Thank you so much! I always say that it's not what you say it's how you say it. Which is so true! We have all been made fun of or judged because of our weight and our eating. I am sure most of us have been dealing with it our whole lives! Some even by our own families it's never given me a thick skin though. I've always tried to make up for it and have others see past my weight and food choices. An afternoon of bad choices isn't going to set me back though. I'm 37 and been through a bad divorce and left with even lower self esteem from it....but I've never given up on myself and continue to move up/forward mistakes and all!
  3. Deltatrans44 I do have a list of things from my NUT I am trying to interpret lol Plus any other suggestions I will PM you my email address I can see what's on your list.
  4. Thank you deltatrans44 and seriouslychange!! I had pretty much cleared out my food in my kitchen except for surgery stuff and I hadn't had a chance to shop for this phase. I am going to the store to stock up today. Egg beaters and cheese! Maybe ham salad or can I have boars head deli meat? That's a soft meat right? Cottage cheese! Oatmeal! Any other suggestions?
  5. Mom2irishtwins - you are right about that. It won't help me. And I made a mistake. And I do appreciate the concern and advice. It was early when I saw these and I had also been PM'd an admonishing message too. So that upset me.
  6. Wow, this makes me really not want to post on here anymore. I come on here for help and support and not to be admonished. And not to be treated like there's something wrong with me for eating that. I know they aren't the best choice. No one has to tell me that. I had also been on a pre-op diet for 6 weeks and then a week of soups etc so a little something is not going to kill me. All things in moderation. This post is only a small glimpse in to my life and what I eat and do. I'm not perfect. If we all were with our eating then we wouldn't need help.
  7. Yeah. Not good I'm sure. I am allowed to be on puréed, mushy, and soft foods on day 10. That's for 2 weeks and them normal foods.
  8. Amazing!! I love seeing progress pics!!
  9. I haven't had any since I've been taking the Prevacid.
  10. Yes the little micro ravioli. They are very tiny. Why is tomato bad? I am taking Prevacid.
  11. Feeling a bit better. I ate the small cup of chef boy r dee. Not the best but I need to go to the store. It was a 7.5 oz cup and I could only eat 1/2! That feels good.
  12. Yeah I know but I don't really have anything but soups here yet so I was weak. lol I do have a small microwaveable chef boy r dee but I think that's mostly carbs too...although some meat.
  13. So, I am on day 10 and I know that I am ready to move out of liquids. Even thick puréed soup doesn't stick long now. So tonight my mom was going to stop by after she went out to dinner. I asked for a hush puppy. She brought two. I chewed well so they were mushy but I am horrified that I could eat two! And possibly some other dinner here in a bit. I'm freaking out. I watched Dr Alvarez's video on "how big is my stomach" and he says 4-6 oz? So I'm thinking ok, how many ounces are those hush puppies? Shouldn't I still be swollen? Or is day 10 normal to not be that swollen anymore? Am I normal? I'm still in that place where I am so scared I am going to fail. That's all I've known.
  14. YURiiMii.....I was sleeved 11/28!! I am 5 days out (or 6... Do I count the day of?). I'm still feeling hunger but I haven't moved to purée or solids yet.
  15. Sorry dde4f was supposed to be an emoticon of hands. :-/
  16. I know. I'm new and it's scary. I prayed last night and this am. ????
  17. Thanks! I am taking pills too! Nothing larger than an m&m Just checking with all my fellow sleevers!
  18. How long have you had the band? It's a pretty personal decision on whether you decide it works it works for you or not. You may get a biased opinion here since most of us have converted or are in the process of.
  19. Chocolate protein, chocolate silk (ok light would be better but the store close by didn't have it) and a heaping teaspoon of peanut butter. Made about 9 oz and I'm stuffed!
  20. They are very informative and comforting. Thank you!
  21. The pharmacist in the hospital said nothing larger than an m&m but I've heard I should be crushing? I am about 5 days out. I was also told I could take Prevacid capsules by my dr's assistant.
  22. Will say a prayer for you Hope all goes well.
  23. Me too! I'm 4 days out and feeling hunger and gurgly too! I get scared that its not going to work for me bc I'm already growling.
