  1. That's not too far I don't think. I've been passed there I think.
  2. Kalee I live in Centreville. What about you?
  3. Thank you so much Tammy. I'm going to try very hard to get back on track.
  4. Thank you Karnie. I was actually thinking about that too. I really need to nip this in the bud now. I have just made an appointment with the nutritionist I has before surgery. I just have to so something.
  5. You all are great. Thanks for the suggestions and I'll work on those options because I didn't come this far to gain it all back. I've had a lifetime of being overweight and waited 42 years for a surgery like this! Love to you all
  6. I was sleeve back in June 2012 and I've lost about 70lbs, which is great, however, since January 2013, all I've been doing is eating bad things and I'm basically out of control and I have now gained back 10lbs. I need to find a support group or something. The hospital I went to offers a support group but it's only once a month and I think I need it more like once a week or twice a week. I don't know what to do. I have depression so that makes me an emotional eater, which I've always been. I have no self control. I should be down more at this point. My current weight is about 165lbs, which isn 't bad but that's not where I want to be. Can anyone relate or help me figure out what to do. I'm already on meds for depression and I can't go up on them anymore and I don't really want to change them. Thank you for your help. Diane

  9. Thank you again for all the wonderful compliments! It means a lot to me.
  10. Thank you everyone! I am enjoying this little journey! Been overweight my entire life and I waited 42 years for this type of surgery to be discovered. Wishing you all the best on your journeys! xoxo
  11. I'm only 2 months post op but doing great! Down 40lbs and hit onderland on July 31st! Yay me!! Stay strong everyone. Every pound is worth it! Love you all!
  12. Just noticed this morning that I can cross my legs without having to hold my one leg in place while crosses! I love my sleeve!!! I think I hit onederland also but waiting for weigh in at the doc next Tuesday! So excited!!!
  13. I too am a slow loser. Today is 7 weeks since surgery and I've only lost 32lbs. It's very discouraging but I'm glad I found this thread cause it now re-motivated me! Thanks guys!!!
  14. I know we are supposed to have low carbs as much as possible so I was wondering if I'm having oatmeal 5 times a week, is that too many carbs in one day? I don't eat any other carbs throughout the day, the rest is all protein. I just don't know how many carbs we are supposed to have. So confused!
  15. Thanks everyone for the responses. Glad to hear I WILL be able to have hot digity dogs....LOL!!!!
  16. I everyone. I'm almost 5 weeks out and I've been craving a hotdog on a bun with sauerkraut. Do you know or think I'll ever be able to have one. I figure not anytime soon but ever?
  17. When you eat puréed meat do you purée it to a liquid consistency or just to a shredded consistency. The thought of eating liquid meat repulses me. Im in my mushy stage but take meat in small tiny bites and chew it to mashed consistency before swallowing. Is this ok?
  18. I couldn't agree more. I knew there are stalls too but thought it would never happen to me! I too can't fathom eating so little and not lose weight. I'm a numbers person and need to see the scale move down. I'm 3 weeks post op and very frustrated. The scale has t moved in two weeks now. So upset but hopefully when the scale does move down, it will be worth it! Good luck to you!
  19. Thanks for the input. It's just so frustrating!
  20. Hi everyone, I'm 3 weeks post op and I already have a stall. I haven't lost anything in over a week. I'm so upset and miserable about it. I'm eating what I'm supposed to and staying hydrated. Any suggestions????
  21. Thanks for sharing! I'm 3 weeks post op and already hit a stall. I'm so upset about this. I don't know what else I can do to make the weight come off. Any suggestions?
