  1. Do any of you ladies have PCOS prior to surgery and I are planning to have a baby at some point post op? My husband and I are wondering how long we should wait before I take out my birth control I know the surgeon wants me to wait a minimum of 12 much but I'm wondering yep that's long enough. My gynecologist said that he would be assertive when I am ready because I am or I will be 34 this year. I am secretly afraid of gaining weight is anybody else thinking like this, or am I being selfish? I really want to be successful from the surgery forever , and I don't anything or any situation to ruin it. What do you ladies think? Have any of you experience a pregnancy after surgery? How was it? Do you have any advice? I would greatly appreciate it. P.S. I already have a 15 your old, and she is wonderful! I think I'm afraid of the unknown, because it has been so long.
  2. Hopefully your experience will be similar to mine minus the 16 day flow.... My doctor seem to be very happy with my results and said that I probably will not have a period again until i take the nexplanon out. I do however think that it is slowing down my weight loss I feel like I have to work harder at it, but I'm okay with that.
  3. Mine started recovery so I know how you feel I was told that is very normal due to all the hormone changes our body is experiences. Only stay for a day or 2 and then came back 2 weeks later and stayed for 16 days. The good thing is it hasn't come back since and I'm 4 months post op. I gyn said this was very normal for nexplanon patients......

  5. Every policy is written differently
  6. I will also add that I had one surgeon office try to force me to do the 3 mths because she didnt want to hold the line and get the specifics of my policy. I call UM Dept myself and the told how to print out exactly what was required so I would have a copy.
  7. I had this exact insurance. NO supervised diet, NO out of pocket cost, just the normal blood test, phycisian clearance, sleep study, psych clearance, ekg and off to surgery i went......
