  2. hm... well i dont have that sharp pain this morning. so hopefully its gone for good. :-/ the whole area has been a little painful to touch... but more like a bruise. so i'm guessing its just healing. :)thanks for the response. i go to the dr for my first fill in 2 weeks so i'll see how it is by then. texas bandette... that might be gas still... are you walking a lot and drinking slowly? also try to gas -x. thats the type of pain i had when it was the gases.
  3. i've lost 34 and most people haven't noticed... or at least haven't said anything. my hubby and my parents have noticed and a couple other friends. i notice because of my clothes being bigger and some clothes that didn't fit, now fit. i think the more you have to lose, the less you notice until its a lot. i'm not going to lie, its a little disappointing when you haven't seen friends in a few weeks, and they dont say anything when they see you... but, eh, what are you gonna do? eventually they'll notice meanwhile, our job is to lose lose lose lol
  4. Was showering just a little ago and I suddenly had a sharp pain around the port area. Like small stabbing pain like a stitch was pulling or was getting jabbed with a sharp stick. It happened for about 15 min and was every minute or so. Not a pleasant pain at all I just laid down and it hasn't happened again, but I've stopped moving. Is this just normal post op stuff? I'm a little over 2 weeks post op. banded July 2. Thanks
  5. great job!! keep it up! let us know how the first fill goes!

  16. So after 2 weeks of pre-op liquids and 2 weeks of post-op liquids.... I finally started my soft foods today! I had some egg beaters, mashed beans, cottage cheese and my favorite salmon!!!! (not all at the same time!! LOL) Just wanted to share! I was soooooooo happy and excited! Those weeks on liquids seemed like forever and were probably the hardest thing I've ever done! But I learned soooo much about how I view food and how addicted I am. I was really able to detox and start my journey right!
  17. Thanks! And these all sound like awesome goals! Keep us updated to see how everyone does! Oh and as of this morning...down another 2. So 14 to go!
  18. I'm trying to set short term goals, besides my big end goal. I was banded 7/2. I started at 297 and I have lost 32 pounds (that includes some from Pre-op) and I'm at 265 now. My short term goal is to lose another 16 pounds and get under 250 by my anniversary mid September so I can wear this fabulous dress that still has the tags on it! And go to a fancy place with my hubby! I haven't been under 250 in years!!! Even when I've dieted before, I couldnt seem to break that number. So that's my next short term goal! What's urs??
