  1. Pasta is not on my drs diet plan post sleeve. It's basically lean proteins, veggies and occasional fruit. Now I try and follow that but I am human and sometimes you just have to have something else hehe I try to aim for just a basic well balanced diet. Everyone has to do what works for them. Lots of success stories on lots of different nutritional guidelines. Just be healthy and happy
  2. I've had two surgeries at Presby. The nurses are so great! I felt it was the best care I've had at any hospital. I was sleeved at Forest Park and I've also had surgeries at Baylor and UTSW Presby was by far the best! You will have great care
  3. Oh yea purée and mushies go down great. It's the protein that's going to give you restriction. But that's a lil further out for you.
  4. I like the propel waters and G2 I have to flavor my Water with something usually crystal light or MIO
  5. Glad to hear your walking! Keep it up
  6. I loved diet dr pepper! I know your pain. After 6 months I let myself try a sip and I was glad I did... It's not so great anymore Every blue moon ill open one up and take a few sips then leave it. You can try it later on and you'll find your addiction is cured

  9. I get that error all the time. I have updated. I always have to log out and then back in.
  10. Oh no! Hope you get it soon. One good thing about the sleeve is medicines get into our systems much faster so about ten minutes after u take your meds you should feel better. Probably should take the highest dose this time since your behind the pain now so u can get ahead of it!
  11. Good luck! Just a warning tho lol if you try a fizzy drink for the first time in public just beware you will burp really really loud lol And your tummy will probably be full at one sip
  12. Are you home or still in the hospital? Good job on your Water intake!!!!
  13. Glad you're doing better. Maybe mix some G2 in with your Water to help with hydration.
  14. Where is Dean the negotiator when you need him
  15. Well I have acknowledged that my not being forthcoming is selfish of me but I have my reasons be it if they are wrong or not... I'm on the fence half the time. I tell lots of people but some places/situations are harder to talk about it and that's when I try and change the subject.
  16. Perfectly normal to feel that way for a while. The happiness and contentment comes and you will love love love you're decision!
  17. Oh yea!!! Glad you're past that... I can't see profiles on this phone 5 weeks out that's when the good food starts being introduced! Yay!
