Ok so I'm 2.5 weeks out and other than this speed bump I feel great!!! One of my incision sites... On right side ( not where they removed stomach) is killing me!!! Getting up from bed/chair sends a shooting pain! It's not really superficial it's def more deep! Also happens if I move certain ways! Hard to shave legs or bend down period! As I sit here on couch writing this its just a constant burning pain! Incisions all look great especially this one! Not infected or hot! Anyone else experience this??? Sent from my iPhone using VST

My preop visit was piece if cake! First was with anesthesia.... They went over any prior surgery.... Had me open wide to see if I had good airway... Asked if I had any artificial teeth ... Listened to my lungs ( I was just getting over bronchitis n have asthma) explained their part.... I asked for scapalamine (sp?) patch because when I had my knee arthroscopy I was nauseous for a complete day from anesthesia and my anesthesiologist told me next time I go under he would recommend that! It's a patch that goes behind ur ear! Post op I had NO nausea what so ever and kept patch on got 2 days post op!!! I then went for blood work and chest X-ray! Final meeting w surgeon I got weighed and she asked if I had any questions! Piece of cake!!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST

I said this 2nd and third day!!!! More emotional than ever!!!! Even had a panic attack in hospital cause all I wanted to do was go home!!!! No one ( even from what I remember reading on here) told me how painful it would be!!! Yes I'm only 1 week out and still a little sore.....I FULLY HAVE NO MORE REGRETS!!!! Ok so they cut through your abdominal muscles!!!!! It's painfull!!! Sore isn't even the word for it!!!! Getting in and out of bed/recliner/ toilet hurt like hell!!! Taking a shower and having your stomach so swollen you can't even wash thoroughly!!! Peeing and not being able to wipe properly!!!! I was miserable...... Fast forward 3 days....... Yes I'm still a little sore meeting our of bed but guess what..... I CAN DO IT ON MY OWN!!! Shaved my legs this morning with no problem!!!! It gets better I swear I just didn't realize how much pain I was gonna be in!!! I have a huge tolerance for pain and guess what... I felt defeated and it sucked for a few days!!!!! EVERYDAY GETS BETTER and then realizing in 3 weeks (including 2 week pre op diet) I HAVE LOST 25 lbs!!!! Oh what a feeling!!!!!!!!! Be strong you can do this! Just like any major surgery there will be pain, but it gets better and u learn how to deal with it!! Yes I'm a newbie but guess what.... As fast as I was to regret my decision the faster I was to realize I made the right decision and increased my quality AND quantity of life!!!

When I saw my dr pre op she actually told me to take a Xanax morning of w sip of water!!! Again I guess it's all up to ur surgeon! Who knows this thurs am I will let u know if I take her up on it!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST

Ohhh sunset!!!! I'm scheduled for Thursday as well and it hit me this weekend... But this morning I freaked out!!!!! Even people around me are saying I'm acting weird! I'm kinda just zoning out!!!
