wow inspirational. I should be getting banded in Sept - October and I am really excited for this journey. I do enjoy going to the gym and being physically active so it shouldnt be a problem. I just need to keep with it...any words of widsom?

Wow, my experience has been wonderful so far. I'm not banded yet, but once I knew I had ins approval and a date scheduled, I told everyone that I work closely with. That means that more than likely, my whole office knows. I have gotten bunches of supportive emails and while I'm on my pre-op diet, they are even trying to not schedule meetings that go through lunch so I don't have to see all of the catered stuff. Of course, I am extremely lucky to work for a company of about 80+ employees and we still manage to have a "family" type atmosphere.
