Skane10 , I know what you mean, I haven't told nobody just my cousin and my husband. Even though I'm Mexican my parents will not approve me having that surgery or the rest of my family.. my cousin wishes me the best luck and she tells me that if she had money she would join me for us to experience This journey together unfortunately she is in a really bad economically.. my husband like you said I don't expect.no support from him .. he wasn't there with any of.my 5 surgery in the past besides my two kids.. so I'm lost there .. I just have my cousins support and here This forum.. Don't listen to your friend is just jealousy of her. Keep on with your decision its not just for you to look better but for your health. That's the way I see it.. I want to be here for my kids and family. Best wishes, Hugs...

Shangefan ; louse told me the same a 5 day my BMI is 41. I have send an email to make sure about that. But I Di have the email where it said 3 days but she send me an email to do a 5 day liquid diet.

I live in Houston too.. I don't have insurance I have my surgery scheduled for august in Mexico with Dr. Almanza. If I can't find somebody cheap in Houston of course not like Almanza I might like to do it here in Houston. I don't qualify for financing that's my bad thing. I searched and the low price I found was $11500. I do want my surgery. I'm 5'2 235 lbs. I have no medical problems. Which is good but I don't want to get worse. I started getting pain in my knees. And my foot. If I can get it here in Houston it would me great.!! Any opinions.pls.. Thank you my friends

I feel better with post.. I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Almanza on august 10.. I'm so excited but nervous at the same time .. why because I'm traveling by my self. I dream of being one the loser bench club..
