  1. I am 9 days out and I was released to eat almost anything! I can eat fish, seafood, chicken! Everywhere is different, that's for sure!!
  2. Lentils are great puréed! I liked split pea and ham. I also did ground turkey and mushrooms with double protein milk. Add hot sauce! Everything taste better with it! Also cook cauliflower add hidden valley ranch dry mix, milk, pepper and a small 1/2 teaspoon or less of chicken stock. Purée it and it taste amazing!! My 7 yr old ate it thinking they were mashed potatoes! Good luck!
  3. I am a new sleeve so of course I want in!! CW 276 GW 250 I also want to start excersizing as soon as I get the green light from the doctor. I am 9 days post-op today! Thanks for starting this!!
  4. LOL!!! I went into a resturant 4 days post-op to pick up food for my family and the smell of the place made me sick! Looking at all the food on the tables and the smell of fried anything was gross! I hope this last the rest of my life!
  5. If you like ranch dressing mix the powder hidden valley packet in non fat plain Greek yogurt and you have ranch dressing! My nutritionist told me about it and it taste wonderful!!
  6. I had the Sleeve 6 days ago and I am so HAPPY that I did!! I had no complications and I am able to drink and eat "mushy" food fine. My uncle had the band and he gets sick ALL the time. THey either fill it too much or not enough. I have lost 8 lbs in 7 days. I started at 296 and now down to 276. I lost some before surgery. Good luck!!
  7. I orders some from supplement warehouse. They are by twinlab baristric support chewable multi berry flavor. I also got one for calcium. I really like them and they are very easy to chew and swallow! I also order all my protein shakes from there, they have good prices. The shakes that is for bariatric patients is gross!! Really thick and not great tasting so I stick with muscle milk lite and isopure! Good luck
  8. I have told everyone! My support is amazing!! I work in a dr.'s office (ortho) and my dr.'s have sent me text came to the hospital to see me. I did not want anyone thinking I was sick or was dying. If I ever get negative feedback then I don't need that person. My dad actually told me he thought I should just diet more....i put him in his place saying he is very obese as well. I love that my friends, neighbors, co-workers, my patients and family know. I think it's too much on people's shoulders trying to figure out what to tell people! It is not normal to lose 8 lbs a week unless you have had surgery. I am down 8 lbs and I am only 6 days out. I had to fill out a form at work this AM and everyone was complimenting me on how great I look an they could tell I lost already! What a HUGE confidence builder that was! Again just my experience so it is up to everyone, but I am so happy with my choice!
  9. 2-3 oz of something puréed. Yesterday I had 1/2 scrambled egg, lunch I had 2 oz of a homemade mushroom soup and 1 oz of yogurt an for dinner 2 oz of cream of aspagus soup that made. I don't think it is too much.....I think I am going to call my nurse today.
  10. I am drinking 3 protein shakes a day and eating 3 meals. I also am drinking water. I feel like I never stop...
  11. I the past couple nights I am 6 days out I wake up at 3am starving. Last night I had 1/2 of a protein shake and went to bed today well I am still up... Anyone else having this?? I feel like I an a baby again....
  12. I was allowed to have 1/2 Water 1/2 apple juice in the hospital. I also think juice has so many calories and high in sugar and not super filling so the tend to not want us to drink it. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using SPT
