slimshadychick reacted to Territravel in Coming Out To My Mother In LawSit her down, take a deep breath, and tell her just what you told us. She may surprise you. You might add, your not telling EVERYONE, but you wanted her to know, because her support means so much.....Good luck!

For so long i've been overweight and in being so I can't tell you the last time I've really SEEN parts of my body. I use to enjoy things like painting my toenails. Now I have to bend and damn near perform acrobatics to even get a good look at my feet. Shaving my WhoHaw has also become an acrobatic task. Trying to steady the mirror in one hand and the razor in the other.....I tell you it's exhausting. I'm probably lucky to still be alive and not have bleed from severe lacerations!!! I've almost completely managed to build a shed over my "tools"! I can hardly wait for the day to be able to get a good look at some of those "things" i've lost touch with. I know this may be going a little to far and into details, but when I'm with my hubby, what's the fun when I can't position myself "up there" and get a good look at what's going on down there!!! I tell you, carrying around this whole other person has become mentally and physically exhausting. I can't wait for my sleeve! Just out of curiousity, what would you like to see.

slimshadychick reacted to Shelby21 in Surgery Biggest Mistake Of Life!Hi! Thanks for checking up on me! I am actually feeling much much better! OMG I was feeling so incredibly depressed for awhile, but eventually it wore off and I started losing weight again and the pain went away. I can now drink completely normal as long as I'm not eating. I can eat, but still have pain after I eat and I have been on prilosec for a long time now and it doesnt seem to help. However I don't always make the best choices I will be honest. Chips don't make my stomach hurt at all and neither does candy or sweets? Which I have never been a sweet eater, but sometimes you just wanna eat without pain, so those are things I go towards..Bad I know! I eat way less than I used to, so I am still losing no matter what I eat though.

I found that I needed to have my grocery shopping list easily available AS WELL AS keep the recipes new, exciting and flavorful. I joined the FREE online site: Allrecipes.com
(They also offer a pay/subscriber membership but I haven't found the need for it).
After creating my account, I added recipes to my RECIPE BOX. You can add recipes from various websites and personalize/input your own recipes. I am now able to create shopping lists easily from these programs and access them from my smartphone via the app "Chef Tap" which links to the Allrecpies.com site.
I have found many recipes from these sites:

slimshadychick reacted to VJSlim in Onederland... Finally !Hi buddies,
Wanted to share a happy news and do a happy dance with you all.....
I've finally arrived at Onederland........
This is such an amazing feeling and I've been waiting oh so long for this. I was bouncing betwen 201 and 203 for the whole month practically. On Monday I weighed 90KGs (198lbs) but I didnt want to post so soon coz I though I may go up a pound again or something. So I weighed again yesterday and I was 89.5KGs !!!
Crossing that 90kgs border is like getting a Visa to dreamland. I still cant believe it happened. I've decided to enjoy this feeling to the fullest before worrying about crossing the 80Kgs line and stepping into 70kgs.. LOL
