That is the boot camp I was talking about. I keep hearing people mention it. I will take a look so I am ready for Monday. I am grateful to have group that can relate to the struggle of having to lose so much. I am worried it won't work. Even though I have lost a good bit I have so far to go. I keep stalling. I lost 50 on the preop and 70 post op. my surgery date was 5/25. I feel like I lose one week a month and stall the the other three it is so weird.

    African American Sleevers

Hello ladies, hope everyone is well. I wanted to share that I have lost a little over 100 pounds ( 50 preop 53 post op) I am so proud of myself. It took forever for me to get through the process of being approved and finding the right surgeon. There were so many times I just wanted to give up. To anyone who is discouraged, I say stay strong and have faith that it will happen, but when it is ur time. I still have a long way to go, and the stalls are hard but It is SO worth. I feel so much better physically and mentally. This is just the beginning I had my surgery May 25. I am looking forward to what the future holds.

    Gall Bladder?

Hi I had my vsg and gallbladder removed on May 25. I have had no issues and I feel great. The surgery took longer of course about an extra hour. I went to the ER about a month before surgery for a gallbladder attack. I had no idea what going on. The pain was awful! The hospital wanted to remove it due to gallstones, but I had them contact my surgeon. I didn't want to be put under twice in a month. I maintained a very bland diet. Watch the seasonings you use and avoid diary, NO SPICY foods. I was fine for the month. I also took an antibotic to be safe. Good luck to you all!

I understood your post, my phone does the same thing. I am glad u posted about your loss. It helps to see u have been successful. I am trying not to have any expectations just take it a day at a time. That is easier said then done. I am just grateful that i have been blessed, no complications and I feel really good.

Mzpecanbrown congrats on ur loss. U post was hiliarious. I weigh daily also. I think may be in a stall right now. I keep going up or down by a pound. I am three weeks out. The scale really hasn't moved all week. It is a little frustrating but I am reading that it is normal at this point. Vsg chichi I guess that is up to you. You will have to take off all your clothes the day of surgery. During my surgery I was given a catheter. I don't remember it going in or them taking it out. ( Thank GOD)

  21. Hi PLEASE drink your liquids! I was sleeved with gallbladder removal on 5/25. Sad to say i hospitalized again a week ago today for dehydration. It was horrible. I put myself on a schedule for Water. I have an app got my phone called waterlogged that really helps me keep track. The app is free. Both the doctors and nurses stressed get ur liquids in before protien. Anything counts sf Popsicles, crystal light, broth etc.. I know it is hard but it gets better. I like the unjury chocolate. I can handle it with milk. Best of luck to you. Drink up!

Hi I am new here also. I have 200+ to lose. I had a dual surgery, sleeve and gallbladder on May 25. So far it everything has gone really well, with the exception of me being hospitalized for dehyration a few days ago. I can't stress the importance drinking your liquids enough! I can tolerate the liquids Water and milk. I would just forget because i was not hungry. I am doing pretty good. I lost 50 pounds preop and 24 since surgery. The amount I need lose seems so overwhelming. It is good to see that other have/are doing it helps to motivate me.
