  1. Hello, I am not yet sleeved and seeing Dr. Halpin. How was the no catheter? Was one night in the hospital enough for you? Did you have any complications? Best, Sannah Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. Hey!! You had surgery!! Woo HOO!! How'd it go? I hope your doing great!!! Best, Sannah Sent from my iPhone using VST
  3. I started this journey when my daughter was 6 months. She is now almost one year old, which means much more active and needs picked up (rather than cuddled) more. I think when your baby is younger is better. Your little one is lighter and less active, which would make the entire deal easier. My concern would be breast feeding (if you are). Thankfully my daughter naturally weened herself. But how will these nutritional changes influence te quality of your milk? What about the medication in your supply? So great to hear from other Mama's!! Wishing you best!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  4. I had a catheter for two weeks. I had an allergic reaction to the sedative and my bladder shut down (previous surgery). The most painful part is insertion and when its taken out. I learned that the experience of the nurse had a great impact on how comfortable or uncomfortable this was. A good nurse inserting a catheter was nearly painless. I hope if you have one its removed before you wake up so you don't have to worry about anything!! I think each surgeon has a preference for a catheter or not. My surgeon does not use one, because she wants me to pee on my own and get up often. Best, Sannah
  5. SHRINKYDINKME: Nice work!!! 10 day stall- ouch!!! Way to work it!!!

  7. They did look so good!! But I feel so proud!!! I always feel like if I am going to have bread it should be hearty and full of Fiber. Not air bread, but I completely agree the hot bread looked so good!! It was hard to pass it up when it was offered to me.
  8. What is the wrap? What does it do? Where can I read about it? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  9. Hey!! I am happy to see a message from you!!! Woo HOO!! I hope your call comes soon!! . Today eating in moderation seemed so much raiser than in the past!!! I met the surgeon and I DO NOT have to loose the 15-20 like I was told!! But I am staying on track and loosing!! . I will have a three week pre op diet that is three small meals and two small snack and does not include Protein shakes!! I was given a list of the food I can have during this time. Luckily I love all of it and it allowing for variety. I should be set for surgery in November!! When do you think you'll be sleeved? How's everything else going for you? Smoking cessation? 10. Thank you for acknowledging my success. This is a huge improvement for me. My in-laws to do not know and we (hubby and I) have no intentions of telling them. Mother-in-law doesn't have a concept of boundaries. This is a woman in came into my delivery room, unannounced!! Prior to labor and delivery I made it clear she was not welcome in. She has caused much grief for my husband and I. My husband has worked hard to keep her at bay. We work hard to keep our marriage safe from her drama. Did you tell your in-laws? If you have them? I did not tell many people. Too personal for me. The psychologist at the Weight Management Institute agreed that ita best to not share with a ton of people. Only those I feel comfortable with. 11. I am in my 6th month of medically supervised weightless. I alot has changed for me. We met our in-laws at Olive Garden (not a place we frequent). I was proud of myself for eating two smaller serving of salad, no bread and half a bowl of Soup. This was not an easy feat given I DO NOT have a good relationship with my in laws and I am an emotional eater. I feel so proud!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
