  9. I will not be banded till August so I'm not getting rid of things yet however I do have a pile of clothes I can not wait to get back into!! I am so tired of wearing the same few shirts and pants! Congrats to you all!!!

    One thing that worries me is sagging skin.....I heard that maybe wearing something like spans may help this problem, anyone try this or have any tips for sagging skin??
  13. I am scheduled for August 6th. I am going July 9th for my nutrition class, then I start the preop July 22nd. This seems like a lifetime away!! Hopefully your next apt will go great and your surgery date will not have to change!

  16. Its official, I get my band on August 6th. I could have gotten it sooner but I didn't want to take the chance of being sore on vacation so I put it off a few weeks. I feel better just having a date!

  18. I can only go by what I have. I have BCBS and once my information was submitted to them it only took 3 days to get the approval. Good Luck

  20. I called the doctor until they submitted everything to insurance then I started calling insurance. I'm no good at waiting, I know I'm not going to have surgery next week or anything but I will feel great to get a surgery date!! Sent from my Kindle Fire using LapBandTalk

  22. I also have BCBS. I didn't think it took long either. My first apt was 5/16 and my approval came Friday. I was excited it was so quick! I am thinking that I am going to have to schedule my surgery a few weeks later as well, we will be on vacation mid July and I don't want to be recovering then. I could have went to the Columbus office but he is only there a few days a month and I didn't want to wait!
