  1. I had my revision on Monday April 6. Today is Friday and I'm still experiencing abdominal discomfort. At times, while I'm drinking strange things are happening in my stomach. Sometimes it feels like spasm and sometimes it feels like hunger pains and sometimes it's gargling. Normal???? Last night I woke up with heartburn. I have anxiety and hate to get myself all worked up over something that's normal. Any advice out here????
  2. I have developed heartburn too. I just want to say that not everything we experience is directly related to the lap band. I have silent reflux, the dr prescribed me Prilosec. I'm feeling much better.
  3. You got a very large fill. I would try to go up more gradually. I only have 3cc in my bad and food gets stuck quite often if I don't chew well
  4. I had one cc removed once. I literally felt the stuck food go down as they pulled the saline out of my port... What a relief. Glad u feel better
  5. My GI dr told me the depo does cause digestive problems because of the hormone imbalance as if you were pregnant. Never the less I'm taking Prilosec. But things like garlic or onions still cause heartburn
  6. Let me add that I had 2 depo shots (hormones) that seem to have caused some digestive issues, acid reflux
  7. I have been banded for for a year and a half but 9 months of that time I was pregnant. The banded didn't give me any issues while preggo. I kept my 3cc's which the band was placed in with. I got a fill over the summer to 4cc's and nothing passed. I couldn't eat pudding or tuna so I know I was too tight and they took it out. So here Iam with 3cc in my band and I still get food stuck more frequently than I would like. I have 3 kids 4 years and under and maybe I just do t have time to eat correctly. Anyone care to go her the proper rules or eating. I feel like broccoli is a nightmare to get down, as well as potatoes.....I'm sure I'm not too tight.... Maybe I just need a review of eating
  8. Try and eat as health as possible. I don't always take my vitamins either
  9. I had a small Piece of cheese stuck for hours... I got an unfilll and felt the cheese pass through as they were unfilling me.... It was immediately relieving lol
  10. isn't it strange when others are more excited ablutions weight loss than u are. I have those days hen the whole day is one big rush. I have a 4 year old a 2 year old and a 5 month old. I'm the last person on the list that gets taken care of. Try getting a 2 year old to eat proton and veggies first.....
  11. I'm a lot happier when I eat the foods I like but smaller portions then before. I keep my lap band looser for this reason and have been losing. Steadily
  12. Can't eat eggs anymore either. I will have a stomach ache for 4 hours til it's all digested. It's a shame. I love eggs. I get back pain too when I over eat.....
  13. When i started taking Zumba the weight started falling off.... I even snack at night (not suggesting that) but I got 2 or 3 times a week and at first it was hard to keep up but by the third class it was okay!
  14. Broth and protein shakes can make that happen even during regular times...
  15. I eat water ever I want but much smaller portions. If I feel like I'm "dieting" I fall off real quick! So if I want 5 tablespoons of mashed potatoes instead of 2, I have it. But I don't splurge every day. I have 3cc in my band! My first fill put me at 4cc and I was too tight and had to have it removed!!! Just because u have no fill doesn't matter! U can do it!
  16. Yea my band was put in with 3cc
  17. Eggs make me very sick too, so full and swollen stomach for about 4 hours!!!! Didn't make the connection til I read ur post!!! Guess its the eggs
  18. My band was put in with 3cc.... Got 1 fill and had to have it removed.... I've been losing nicely with 3cc and Zumba 3xs a week!!!
  19. Of your losing good the you shouldn't be getting at fills. If you lose steady weight then it's working, no Need to tighten it up. I have 3cc and was losing well. I was able to eat like a normal person. The dr gave me a 1cc fill and I couldn't eat a thing. Stay where you are comfortable
  20. Anyone have decent restriction with only 3cc. I have pretty good restriction. What was ur green zone ?
  21. What are your symptoms when you over eat and don't need to vomit
  22. Over fills are the worst. Couldn't get nothing down. I stayed like that for about 5 days before I realized the needed to take it out. It was a 1cc fill. The dr told me there was no way my now 4cc band was too tight but I threw up Mushies and felt the water backing up as I was drinking it. That bad experience has totally turned me off to food. I hardly want to eat anymore even tho he took out the fill. Can't get that horrible experience out of me head
  23. Yea the emotional side effect are so bad. I only took 2 shots. How long til I go back to normal ?
  24. Omg I love everything bagels with CC. Can't touch them anymore!!!
  25. Like loss of appetite?
