I had talked about getting the band, she tried to talk me out of it. big mistake. that's why when I got approved I only told 2 of my closest coworkers. I don't want everyone to know. I know that sometimes it takes a long time to lose the weight after surgery. I don't want to try to explain to everybody or to talk to people about my surgery. maybe after I start losing some weight I'll feel more comfortable talking about it. Hi deborah! I am Lupe and I'm going to get my lap band on june 19th. I have 2 kids 12 and 8, so I have to get fit & healthy for them.... This Weight is holding down. I always find myself wanting to do things but don't , cuz I think I look ridiculous.... I don't know if you do that too.
