  6. You are not coming across as mean. :-). Eating I am doing good for the most part. I have been keeping it under 1200 as the doc wants. If I have to go up stairs at home I run up them. Its a start.
  7. I am due to have the surgery the end of September or beginning of October. I know this is the right choice and that it is something I need to do for me and my kids. However, I know if I exercise and watch what I eat I could loose the weight on my own. Then I tell myself HELLO it has yet to work cuz you don't do it. I hate to exercise and dont have energy to do it. I am worried that this wont work for me.
  8. San Diego, CA will have the surgery her in Oct. sometime.
  9. No I am not sleeved. I am taking classes and won't have it done til Oct.
  10. Really trying to be good with my eating. Was good all day up until 30 mins ago and had 1 1/2 biscuit. I am trying to stay under 1200 calories as I need to loose 10% of my weight by August. I almost feel that i should just go to bed after I eat dinner so I am not tempted. Any pointers

  15. Maybe I will be able to go back after 2 weeks as I have a desk job. Just trying to plan ahead as I wont have mine until September at the earliest.
  16. How long are you off work after the surgery?
  17. I will say to you what others say to me. Don't be hard on yourself, it took us along time to get where we are. Changes will not happen overnight. Tomorrow is a new day and it will be a great one. You are not the only one who has messed up. You can do it. :-)
  18. Well I am a single mom who has 2 girls 17 & 11 and I am starting out on this journey. I am currently taking a class via my insurance and if all goes right I hope to have the operation in October. I am trying to stick to 1200 calories and do a good job on the most part but then there are those days (sometimes many). From what I see exercise is extremely important and that is something I need to start doing ( I hate it) lol. I can see myself after the surgery as thinner and feeling great but then there is that evil person on my shoulder that says I will fail. Do any of you ever feel like that? Well I am here for you all too. Tina
  19. I have found liquid tylenol at CVS, Walgreens and at time the grocery store. Hope that helps
