  1. Hey everyone! Ive been a member here for about a year now and this is the first and only time ive done this. We're holding a fundraiser for a great project and a great cause! The project is a short film with a great cast attached and the cause is - 10% of our net profits is donated to Kidd's Kids (the charity of the late Kidd Kraddick). If you aren't able to donate, then we ask that you spread the word - twitter, facebook, friends, etc. We only have three days left! Even if we dont reach the "perfect" goal listed, we still receive the funds raised! Thanks again for taking the time to check it out. Every dollar helps! http://www.badbuddhafilm.com Thanks! Clay
  2. Figured I would post here as well, since I'm a DECEMBER SLEEVER lol barely though. I was sleeved bright and early on 12/31/12. I actually woke up down another 1 1/2 pounds - I added those numbers in as well. Too bad my monthly mark was yesterday ---------------------------------- Not the best month... Not the worst. 15 lbs 'til Air Force Nine month mark yesterday Sleeved 12/31/2012 High weight: 303 Surgery weight: 297 First month: - 31 lbs Second month: - 11 lbs Third month: - 13 lbs Fourth month: - 10 lbs Fifth month: - 10 lbs Sixth month: - 9 lbs Seventh month: - 4.8 Eighth month: - 8.6 Ninth month: - 6.8 Yesterday's weight: 198.8 Today's weight (10/1/13): 197.4 Total lost as of Yesterday: - 104.2 Total lost as of Today (10/1/13): - 105.6 lbs Average Calories: 1200-1300 per day.
  3. Ok so after a month off i started back tonight - slid back one week to W3D1. Barely made it lol.
  4. I get that achy empty feeling every 3-4 hours. So i just eat small meals and snacks throughout the day.
  5. Um.... well, I don't watch WHAT I eat as much as the calorie count. Breakfast today - 1/2 of a turkey, cheese, spinach omelette. Usually just grab an Atkins protein shake though - those taste best to me and have least carbs. Lunch - our cafeteria at the hospital blows so I usually end up getting a cheeseburger with mustard instead of mayo and eat about half... no fries. Usually get a small snack of popcorn or some candy (yeah I know... not the best, but I'm watching calories...) Dinner varies. Could be a snack or grab something quick at a restaurant - maybe 1/4 to 1/2 of a burger from Chili's or Twisted Root or something like that... if I go somewhere with a steak I'll get a sirloin and eat about 1/3 to 1/2 depending on the size... I eat veggies if I have room. So I do OK for the most part - just allow myself a cheat sometimes depending on how stressful the day was. I just focus on calorie count more than anything and try to keep my carbs DECENT... still go over 50 a day usually. Sometimes by quite a bit. Hope that helps.
  6. Not the best month... Not the worst. 15lbs 'til Air Force Nine month mark today Sleeved 12/31/2012 High weight: 303 Surgery weight: 297 First month: - 31lbs Second month: - 11 lbs Third month: - 13 lbs Fourth month: - 10 lbs Fifth month: - 10 lbs Sixth month: - 9 lbs Seventh month: -4.8 Eighth month: -8.6 Ninth month: - 6.8 Current weight: 198.8 Total lost: - 104.2 lbs Average Calories: 1200-1300 per day.
  7. Havent seen this in 16 years!
  8. This isn't an end of month update (almost though - only have a week left for September) - but I hit 200lbs yesterday! That was a goal of mine. Only 15 pounds to go to make weight to start trying to get into the Air Force Nurse Corps. I honestly don't see where it's going to come from though.. I'm still losing a fairly consistent 2lbs a week.. hopefully it keeps up a little while longer. Has anyone gotten to the point they feel like they're losing TOO MUCH weight? I'm kind of worried that might be a possibility... if so how did you handle it?
  9. You can't let what people say get you down. One of our NNP's here in the NICU - her daughter had the same procedure I did (sleeve) and she's had a ton of complications - every story is unique and different - however complications ARE NOT the norm. I had ZERO. ZERO food intolerances (not exactly proud of that part)... I'm eating 1300 cal's a day average and still losing 2lbs a week on average fairly consistently... Still have 20lbs to go until "IM" happy.
  10. You're not alone. It's been an easy three weeks since I've worked out or ran... I'm slammed with working 4 x 12's a week plus taking two INTENSE online nursing courses (management and assessment) plus trying to fit in a little "me" time.. UGH. SO with you...
  11. OMG I've totally fallen off of the wagon. It's been an easy three weeks since I've ran. Started two online nursing classes (Management and Assessment) for my RN-BSN bridge plus working 4 12's a week... SHOOT ME.. ugh hopefully things will slow down a little and allow more time to get back into the swing of things.
  12. Hey everyone. I'm working on my next short film. It's a 15 minute twisted comedy with a "Hangover" sense of humor. We made the pitch video this weekend and I'm trying to figure out if it's funny or not - if it's not then it's not going to work and I'll need to re-shoot it. Your opinions and thoughts matter! Please let me know! Is it too much to read? overwhelming? Just trying to make it better. http://igg.me/at/badbuddhafilm/x/27179
