I also had my three month wait. Its over I'm approved. Yeah. I see Dr. Thursday for consent and then I get my date. In the mean time, I'm getting ready. Buying my vitamins, food, things on the list posted here. Good luck...

I had to do a five day protein liquid diet only at the start of my three month wait for the date part of my WLS journey. I kept very busy and put my "hunger thoughts" to "skinny thoughts" you can do this. Good luck.

In my informational material, it says gout can flare up due to dehydration. She needs to increase her fluid intake and see if this helps. Good luck

As a former employee of a surgery center. He must REALLY be sick to cancel surgery. They don't do it unless they have no other choice. Yes it sucks to push back your date. But you want a healthy surgeon doing your surgery. Sorry for your delay. Good luck.

Louisiana is hands down the best food state. Its gonna be hard but ive lost 20 lbs pre-op and down 2 dress sizes. I'm stoked and I CAN AND WILL DO THIS.

Crichard1107. How did u handle crawfish boils. Did it kill u? I'm pre surgery and should have the surgery In march. I'm hoping to get in some crawfish around mardi gras. But after surgery we will be boiling a lot. I don't know if I can eat just one!

Y'all, I'm from new Orleans. I'm going to have to have a mass funeral. Fried anything, you were my friend. Along with the red solo cup full of cold beer or coke depending on who drove.
