  7. Hi Everyone, I had my first fill today under fluoro...1cc in a 4cc band. Feeling sick to my stomach. It seems to be like hunger pains. Is this normal? I feel exhausted.:faint: My doctor was really vague about what to eat afterwards..he only said to be on Clear liquids this afternoon....I need some advice. Thanks so much, Denise
  8. Are you still on your pain meds? I had the same problem as you but only the first week after surgery---so I stopped taking the hydrocodone...and no more problems. Also, get some fiber powder...it works
  9. I went in to my first doctor's constultation visit at the end of January 2007 and I had my surgery on March 08, 2007. So I guess it was less than two months. I am covered under my husband's insurance which is United Health Care---and he has the best coverage policy that the company offers. Of course if I still had my teacher insurance---it wouldn't have covered it.
  10. I happens to me if I eat or drink to much.
  11. Hi Berry, I am getting my appetite back too...aargh!!! Good thing that I am going in for my first fill on Monday 4/9--which is a month after my surgery. For what I have been reading on the posts--this may be too soon. When is your doctor doing your first fill? Denise :nervous
  12. Hi Medge, This happened to me with the shoulder pain. It lasted about a week---I used a heating pad and laid horizontal---and tried to walk as much as I could. Take care! Denise
  13. I have been banded since 3/8---and yes my doctor has me introducing solids because I am to be filled 4/9.
  14. Thanks Tammy! I am on to soft foods with introduction of more solid foods everyday. No PBing yet...crossing my fingers! I have my first fill 4/9 which I believe is a little too early---but the doctor doesn't---so I am doing it. When is everyone else banded in early March getting their first fill? I am very nervous. I really haven't had a full meal yet---I still pick and eat very very little portions.
  15. When was everyone able to eat lettuce? My doctor wants me to start introducing solids a little at a time.
  16. I am surprised that your doctor didn't give you the generic liquid form of morphine? If I were you, I would call and have him call in the liquid.
  17. Yep..this sounds like the liquid Vitamin I was told to get...AWFUL! I use Centrum Chewables---much better and taste like oranges.
