I started on line classes. It helps, i'm not very talented when it comes to artsy things and stuff, but pinterest has lots of great ideas that will keep your hands and brain busy! I too have always used food as a coping mechanism, and you know it just makes things worse. We feel so bad after we eat that large blizzard! LOL After surgery you will think about food alot! Is it time to eat, do i have my protein, has it been 30 minutes, what can i eat, what does my sleeve want today? Its a every day, I am out 9 weeks, i would have the surgery all over again! I love my new tummy! Just treat it like a baby, you wouldnt want to start your newborn off on an unhealthy diet, right? Well we have a new chance with our baby bellies, this time we have control of them, no one else!!!! Good Luck!!!

I didn't cheat either! I was scared and honestly didnt want anything. Except sugar free popsicles! I keep those all the time still!!!

Hey guys! Just wanted some advice about my aching legs, its mainly in the mornings when i get up. I was sleeved May 10, 9 weeks today. I take my Multivitamin and Calcium and of course Biotin. I get about 80 grams of Protein a day. They don't cramp, they ache! Can any one suggest anything?

From Christmas 2011 till.... About two weeks ago !

Let's try this again! I didn't make the 4th challenge. So tomorrow I will be 8 weeks post, I was 195 this morning so by sept 3 I'm shooting for most of all more gym time! Would like to get through this stall and be under 180!

I was told where we lose weight so quickly our bodies are just flooded with hormones. Some one else may be able to describe it better. I was sad, mean, angry and the whole time wanting to be happy! Lasted about three weeks for me!

Everyone thought i was crazy for having "elective" surgery. I was happy all the way to the hospital, and till they took me to surgery! I'm over the hormonal part i do believe, so guys be prepared its worst than pms! I am 7 weeks out, starting to get compliments! Every day is amazing, I enjoy something new everyday seems like. My thing I am really looking forward too is....... walking past a mirror in the store and realizing that is really me staring back!!!!!

I got my "new beginnings" tat one week after surgery.

I'm single and sleeved, not easy. Single not by choice, lost my fiance last year to cancer. Not really doing the dating thing yet, but maybe soon???? It would be nice to have people to talk to see how we all handle different situations in the single life!

My nut says yes! Also, I read somewhere six regular size ice cubes is like 4 oz ! Not sure how true, I may have to do the melt test !

So i've been taking Prilosec generic once per day. I read on here that some sleevers take it twice per day. So that is ok? Cuz ive noticed at night the hungry feeling returns.

I was sleeved May 10th, almost seven weeks! Just think about what we have been through, first of all the two week pre op, we are addicts our body goes through withdrawels. Then we have major surgery, talk about stress.....worrying about walking, sipping. Then we worry about food we can and cant eat, will i stretch my sleeve, am i eating to fast? I gotta walk, i have no energy. I told my mom i thought before surgery my world revolved around food, i was fooled, now it really does! BUT I LOVE IT!!! Take your time breath, pray and go with it! We are recovering addicts, we have all seen movies what drug addicts go through getting clean. Our drug of choice was/is food!

I read that somewhere as well, i was thinking on this forum. It stated to use a scrub twice a week. I guess it couldn't hurt!

Good morning everyone. I'm only 6 weeks out and have strep throat. I had a shot yesterday, my concern is dehydration. I usually get strep once a year and I'm out of commission for two weeks. It hurts so BAD to swollow. the only thing I've had is sugar free Popsicles this is messing me all up with my protein and fluids!!!!
