  1. Today I went to my Dr to have my consult and pre-op evaluation. My surgery date in Wednesday, April 4. The doctor said that there is no need to put me on a pre-op diet. I know that a lot of people here have to go on a liquid diet before surgery to shrink the liver or something like that:phanvan :cry . Does anybody knows why some doctors do and some don't?:welldoneclap:

  16. Any news? I'm courious b/c I have Cigna too, my file was submitted last week, and I'm watting for a response. I called and they say it's going to take like 3 wks. I need to call back on the 23rd.
  17. Two years ago I moved to Texas, so here my story: I had a baby so I have records here from my OB for 2005 and 2006, still I needed 3 more years and guess where I'm from.... Puerto Rico. It was a NIGHTMARE:omg: I had to pay, I sent more than 50 faxes, I sent letters, I sent even my aunt to some Dr.'s offices to get recods for me, finally after more than 35 phone calls later I was able to get all the three years that I needed (last week:clap2: ). So I hope this help a little bit to make you feel better, but I totally understand what you are going thru.

  20. They say is going to take from 2 to 4 weeks to get an answer. Any advice? How is it going for you, how are you feeling after surgery?

  22. Hello everyone! I’m new to LBT and I think is a great forum with lots of answers and support, thank you. Finally today all my papers were submitted to my insurance (Cigna). I have completed all the insurance requirements; from sleeping test, 6 month supervised diet to the nightmare of finding weight history records for 5 years. I feel exhausted and anxious:paranoid , all I do is think about if they are going to approve or deny my surgery. By the way I live in north Texas is there anyone who wants to share how to cope during this process. Well I just needed to shout out.
