My name is Lora and I am 45 years old with hubby and two kids. I was thin up until i got pregant. The weight never came off abd i gradually was up to 273. I hated how i felt physically and emorionally and I knew I needed to make a huge life change. I was banded on December 21,2010 after a six months denied from CIGNA insurance, supervised diet by doctor. Needless to say I was thrilled to get my scheduled surgery of January 3,2011 to right before Christmas! Dr. James Hanosh was my surgeon, he is wonderful and caring has best bedside manners. Surgery went well but was put on oxygen for the rest of the week to keep my levels up. I was filled 6 weeks later.
