  5. I have BCBS of Texas and had to go through the 6 month nutritional classes, but thankfully the hospital my surgeon is with offers them. It was very informative! I feel it made me more aware of what I was goi g to go through.
  6. There is going to be one in Orlando in Dec. that I am excited to register for!
  7. Thanks I will have to try that!

  11. I am 3 months post op and still get tickled pink when I get full from 2 1/2 oz of chicken and an ounce of veggies. I still have cravings, but it's something in your mind that you need to take control of. It all works itself out, I promise. I love food and am learning to cook smaller, healthier, and even tastier portions. YOU GOT THIS!
  12. I appreciate it dorrie! I think I should measure myself tonight.

  15. Thanks for the encouragement everybody. I have lost 79lbs since my highest. I guess I shouldn't complain.
  16. I had my surgery 3 months ago and have hit my second plateau? I have lost quite a bit of weight, yes, but didn't think it was supposed to stop like this for a few more months. Has anyone experienced this? When I say plateau I mean the number on the scale has not budged for more that 4 days.
  17. This was actually for my liquid diet, so 2 weeks pre-op. Weight loss post-op has been sheer determination and a 2 yr old who simply doesn't stop lol. Really it just starts melting off. Have all the Protein you are supposed to, and find a great exercise regime.
  18. I'm not sure how to attach a file to the thread. Does anyone know if this is possible! If not, those who want to try the chart send me your email addy and I will get it over to ya!
  19. You all are going to be great!! I was sleeved Feb 3rd and have lost total of 79lbs! The best thing to do is make a schedule for yourself and stick to it as much as possible! Also I found that for my one cup of veggies, a small salad between 2 and 4 was best for me! My partner made a nice chart with Excel that helped me to ensure I was getting all requirements for the day in! If anyone would like to try it just let me know and I will share!
  20. I was sleeved on Feb 3rd. I had that problem on the liquid diet only. After the surgery I have been the exact opposite. I wouldn't have a bowel movement for days and days. Finally that is after control. My dr says Miralax is better to take.
  21. Thanks for the info! I was able to walk 3 miles before my little guy woke up this morning. For some reason he doesn't like it when we dance with the Wii. I think I'm going to get a few fitness games do do while he is sleeping.
  22. Have to give up my gym membership. I need tips for exercise at home. Keep in mind I have a 2 year old.
