  1. Nana congratulation on your surgery date. I am from Exeland remember. Good luck with everything and will be thinking of you.
  2. Thank you so much for replying this really helps. Yes I have been trying to eat too much. I am guessing at 3 1/2 months out that you are not mushing anything now just 1/4 protein and or vegies twice daily along with your protein shake and jerky. I have not really recieved information about the amounts Just what to eat. Yesterday I had colby cheese then realized it is not like string cheese as far as calories so I had to amost eat nothing the rest of the day because I did that. Do you know of a site to go to for more information on eating? THank you so much for you reply.
  3. I am worried I may eat too much. I can eat more than I should and do not feel full. I have been keeping track of my Protein, Calories and Carbs. I am doing well but do not really know how many carbs or calories we should limit it too. I am almost 2 week Post OP.
  4. It is my lower gut area on the left side. It will just not go away. But is not like it was.
  5. Had my one week post op. The surgeon started me on Ursodiol it helps in preventing gallstones. He said that he routinely adds this medication if you still have you gallbladder. I take silver centrum and B12.
  6. Love my magic bullet. Company coming I made a quick cheesecake with it. I will not have that.
  7. Does everyone drink real coffee. I have been trying the caffeine free for 4 weeks and can not learn to like it.
  8. I was sleeved on July 28th. I made a charts with all the meals and on the other side the protein, calories and Carbs in everything that I am eating. It is almost like a game with me to see how low I can keep the carbs and how high the protein can be. It worked for me. I keep it on the frig or in my purse at work. If I get a good score by 700 at nite. My treat is a fat free greek yogurt with splenda and cinnamon.
  9. Thanks everyone for the information.

  13. Just got back from my app't with Dr. Pitchford. I thought if a band failed that an insurance co would pay for the sleeve. I have good ins. thru the marshfield clinic it is security Health as I work there. I started out to be a RNY but tooooooooo many adhesions. So it was converted to a band. So I really lucked out because that is what I reallllllllllllllllllllllllllly wanted. I have not had a lick of trouble. He was happy with my progress even tho 1 week out I have not really lost that much. How long ago were you banded?
  14. Wondering why you had the sleeve so many have had the RNY or lapbanding. I knew from the beginnning after reading and searching this is what I wanted. He did have to try the RNY first but because of adhesions was unable to complete and I did not want the band. So he proceeded with the Sleeve and I was so happy.
  15. Dr. Pithford was my surgeon and you? I am going to see him today. How are you doing?
  16. I am from a small town Exeland. I am going for my 8 day post op today. I am so happy with the sleeve so far. I started out trying an RNY but too many adhesions. I drink 3 unjury protein shakes daily and have been doing great along with 2 oz cream of wheat and 2 oz og creammed soup. THen I have a SF pudding in the evening. Along with my water of course during the day. Where in Wisconsin do you live?
