I was just sleeved last Thursday. I am worry that I am drinking any Water, I have tried small sips, with ice, without ice, but still hurts going down. I just don't understand, on the other hand yogurt, blended Soups, and Popsicles go down with no problem. Any advise? Thank you Johanna

Thank you, today is my 4 day and I am very happy.

I had my surgery with Dr Almanza last Thursday. By far have been an excellent experience. Meet lots of friends along the way. Now, I am starting my new journey. Thank you to each of you for the support that I have received from this site and from all my friends I meet in Tijuana. Love you all<3 Johanna

I know I am ready for this, but I am so scared. Flying to San Diego at 4am, then having surgery with Dr. Almanza Thursday. I can't stop thinking about my kids and what will they do if something goes wrong. Please pray for me. Thank you. JC

Same here, I have the same gel nails. I guess I don't have any choice, time to take them off:( and just getting a pedicure. Love to here how you feel after the surgery:)

Thank you very much for your honesty....now I can sleep, I have been having the worse nightmares and my husband said that I have also been talking on my sleep with girls at a Dr. office. Your post make me feel better. Have a quick and healthy recovery:)

Wow, I can't believe that you have to wait all that time to have your surgery. I will be there in June 7th, I hope I don't have to wait that long. MirandaK, other than the wait time, how would you rate your overall experience? I am so scared of the pain, more than anything else. Also, I just have another question regarding my guess...my husband will be going with me, we are staying at the hotel. Can he stay there at the clinic until I have the surgery? And if he can, do you know if they will take him to the hotel that night? I am sorry for so many questions.... Get well soon:)

Crystal, First, I will like to thank you for all your help and support. I will be flying in on May 27th, surgery will be on the 28th with Dr. Kelly and flying back home on June 1st. Good luck with your surgery, sending prayers your way.

I don't even remember if my BMI was exacly over 40....the only thing I know is that I have been a big girl for the last 16 years.... The dr office is submitting my paperwork tomorrow. Please pray for me:)
