I believe that some have said 4 or 5 but I'm not sure! I hear you about wanting to know. When I started this process and they told me that it could take 3 to 6 months, I thought for sure that they were exaggerating! Lol. I'm almost at the 3 month mark so they know what they are talking about! . Best of luck to you!

Hi Tasha, I have UHC and my paperwork was submitted 6/28. I'm in the waiting game right now. From what I've read on the site, the approval time varies for every one! Fingers crossed that it will not take long!

Hey ladyhouston, I think my username is a little misleading. I'm not in Houston. I used my husbands middle name to sign up. . I am however a previous New Orleanian! I always feel that people from New Orleans and Houston have a lot in common! Sleeveme, looks like we will be waiting buddies together! I hope we hear something this week. I agree the waiting is Miserable! Ladyhouston, keep us informed about your surgery date. Hopefully, we'll all be sleeved very soon!

I agree! Don't let the hubby get you down! I haven't told my husband what I weigh! I've had a couple of procedures to have lumps removed from my breasts. Each time they came in before the procedure, I told them they could tell my husband anything they wanted..... But not my weight! I don't know how much my husband thinks that I weigh. He is 5'10 and about 185! I have no intention of telling him what I weigh even when I lose weight! Lol

Hey guys, I'm waiting on my approval from the insurance! They submitted everything to UHC on 6/28. I called today and they said they had received every thing and it was in a pending status. It has to go through a medical review team and then a medical director for approval! I'm so anxious to get this approved and to get a date! Please keep me in your thoughts! I'm so ready to start the journey and be on the loser's bench with everyone! Hugs to every one on this journey!
