    I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2005. I got the band in march 2008. I have lost 95 lbs. I even got pregnant and have a healthy son and I weigh less than I did per-pregnancy. I will tell you that I did not lose as fast as my best friend who got the surgery too but I did reach a healthy weight. So just know that PCOS does not mean you will fail with the band. Good luck to you all.
